well I have done all Kelly's missions and am feeling v proud of my living room

I honestly can't think of anything else to do in here (except maybe paint the staircase.... )

I watched Anthea tonight showing off with her toilet cleaning cloths and thought, Anthea, you don't even know about swish and swipe. You may as well just end it all now.

tortoise · 31/08/2006 21:07

Hey well done you.
I don't think ive done 1 of kelly's missions this week.

Evening ladies.
You are all doing so well.
I am still stuck on Day 6 though, although I have cleaned out the fridge. Have to admit I didn't realiseit was a task though,I only did it cos Ineeded to make roomfor new shopping.

I am now going to tackle the pileof ironing that rivals Mount Everest.

tortoise · 31/08/2006 21:35

Aww tr. You have so much on your plate right now.It tough just being preg without other kids and a house to look after.
Does your dp help in any way? You are not crap.
My house is far from tidy atm and i have no good reason for the mess.
From the pics you put on before it really didn't look that bad.

OP posts:
calebsmummy · 31/08/2006 21:51

Hello Fly People

Have decided to join you as Flame was telling me all about how brilliant this was the other day

So, do I only do what Flylady tells me to do every day, or can I do extras? I mean it would be lovely just to polish my sink for a day and write stuff down on others, but my house would become a total tip!!

Perhaps I should go read up some more, but first i must go and shine my sink.....ooh and order one of those lovely denim house coats

DontlookatmeImshy · 31/08/2006 22:02

AwwTrinity,have a big cyber hug

Your full of good ideas Ruby.

tr I think you have mentioned dp/dh before(depressed or something i think??) but you never mention any help from him.I hope you are getting some help.

Can you just pick up 5 things everytime you walk from a room to another and put them in the right place before you can put them down?

All things will take time.I have to make sure kitchen/dining/bathroom are all clear and tidy for new floor to be put down(fingers crossed they are coming next week!).
Where the hell am i going to put DS1's foot ball table??(damn father xmas buying it for him!!!)

OP posts:
tortoise · 31/08/2006 23:05

Night night

TR _ I so feel for you Very sad to read your posts.

Can you beg, borrow or steal some childcare? Over teh weekend to get a hold on it?

Can you bag up ALL of the dirty clotehs and send DH/Mum/Willing friend to laundrette to get it all done so you can start your load a day routine?

Use paper plates and cups to stop dishes mounting up.

Eat whatever you can put your hand to, relax your standards. Give them cereal for tea if necessary, or boiled eggs, or beans on toast.

Put a big box in each room - pile everything in to it that is lying around so that is clear and looks much better then do 15 mins at a time putting the stuff away? Make the kids race to do it?

You are not crap - just overwhelmed
