New thread for a new zone, morning all

lets all do profiles

I have been married 6 years, I have 2 dd's, one is 6 and the other is 16 months and a dd or ds on the way!
I have always been domestically challenged and I think Flylady has the answer.
I have known about flylady for about 2 years but never really got going, I hope that doing it together will change that.
Good Luck to all on a fresh zone

Quootiepie · 16/08/2006 11:45

everyone quit 'coz its loo day?

MommyUpNorth · 16/08/2006 12:05

Nope, not me. Loo is done! I'm also the one on the other thread asking about removing polish from our table, so I've been doing the vinegar suggestion this morning, but no luck. Dining room day here for me, so I need to tidy up in there and then wash the floor... just having lunch with DS first.

domestickler · 16/08/2006 12:15

Im dreading this job

round the back of our loo is rank because the flooring is crap down there and hard to clean so i very rarely do!

must do it tho

fattiemumma · 16/08/2006 12:17

Afternoon all.
Ive made a start on the bathroom! Found some cleaner called lime lite which was good on the sink.Done window sill behind bath and tiles on that wall.
Bath to do next and then i guess i better do round the loo. bleurgh!
Ive chucked a small amount of toys!

Welcome to another new member,fattiemumma.

My hands are really suffering from all this cleaning.I need to use some hand cream!

Quootiepie · 16/08/2006 12:23

Welcome I considered being a social worker! You dont have to do the whole bathroom today! its this weeks "zone", and the job for today in the zone is.... the loo!

Quootiepie · 16/08/2006 12:24

tortoise, i HAVE to use gloves, my hands go mad! I wont do any cleaning or washing up without gloves... I refuse

AmandaP · 16/08/2006 12:29

I'm back now, and ready to face the loos - I did think about leaving them until after lunch, but thought that might not go well. I reckoned this way I might get put off my lunch so I get to lose weight as well - killing two birds with one stone!!!!

Welcome fattiemumma - I'm only on day 3 so not far ahead of you at all. It's still confusing me a bit but everyone here is very helpful!

tortoise · 16/08/2006 12:34

I find gloves get in the way! Maybe i should buy some.Cillit bang says wear gloves but i didn't see that until i'd finished.

coggy · 16/08/2006 12:35

coggy · 16/08/2006 12:35

If cillit bang can do what it does to a penny...I dread to think what it could do for your hands!!!

Gloves, gloves, gloves girl!!!

Quootiepie · 16/08/2006 12:36

Quootiepie · 16/08/2006 12:37

tortoise · 16/08/2006 12:38

When i get to the shops later i will buy gloves.
Just normal yellow ones? Do they come in sizes? I have quite big hands

tortoise · 16/08/2006 12:41

Oh and does anyone wear a mask so you don't breathe in fumes? Notice that alot say dont breathe in vapours!
Maybe thats why i had odd dreams last night!

Quootiepie · 16/08/2006 12:44

i wear disposables for house cleaning. washing-up type gloves come in sizes

coggy · 16/08/2006 12:50
