New thread for a new zone, morning all

lets all do profiles

I have been married 6 years, I have 2 dd's, one is 6 and the other is 16 months and a dd or ds on the way!
I have always been domestically challenged and I think Flylady has the answer.
I have known about flylady for about 2 years but never really got going, I hope that doing it together will change that.

Hi.... have you all finished? I have understood why Flylady asks you to do just 15min at a time. I overdone it last night and went to sleep at the same time as usual but much more tired so... I'm knackered today, more so becuase I had a good look around the flylady site and ......

IT SAYS YOU HAVE TIDY AND EVEN VACUUM CLEAN THE HOUSE BEFORE DOING YOUR WEEKLY ASSIGNMENT!!!!! ARGHHHHHHH [screaming in desperation]
please tell me I'm getting it all wrong as I was already very pleased with the idea of just doing a room a week and in 15min slots

Now, to my defense, I have gone to work this morning, laundry is drying at the moment [actually... it finished about 2 hrs ago ], had a deep cleaning of the living room and the entrance hall. Tidied all DS's toys and videos, sorted all shoes and hung all other things at the wardrobe, now, there is a pile of toys at the entrance table waiting to be brought up upstairs. I have a toothache so I may not do anything else for the rest of the day.

Ive done nearly no tidying today but i did make the veg burgers and we are now eating them! Actually not too bad.

we don't have to follow flylady to the letter; just take what you think is useful; for me that is concentrating on 1 room a week and doing other stuff for 15 mins at a time.

also here is a side effect of flylady; a burning urge to go to Ikea.....

hiya! my dp is well impressed with me, so much so that he went to the shop and brought me home a magazine and a bar of choccy so i can relax and rest for a bit!
made spag bol for dinner and it was the best durn spag bol i ever tasted.

i swear, fly lady is really changing my whole family life! its great!

off to do the dishes now and make smoothies, then i'll shine the sink.

dishes done, sink shined. im knackered and refuse to do anything else tonight!

gonna put ds to bed in a sec then chill out infront of the pc (if dp doesnt hog it first) until big brother.
