Haven't actually ordered one yet, RubyRioja. Do still have a bog-standard one from WHSmiths with a column for each of us that I'm using, so still hesitating over the Organised Mum ones...

Medulla · 07/08/2006 16:19

It's fab, couldn't sleep so filling mine in at 6am! how's that for dedication1

coggy · 07/08/2006 16:22

Trinity - I am sooo jealous of all your Fly lady goodies!!

I am only wearing shoes (slippers) and shining sink.....other people seem to be advancing quicker than I?!

trinityrhino · 07/08/2006 16:23

I have just ordered the organised mum weekly calender, oooooooo can't wait for it

coggy · 07/08/2006 16:25

I shined my sink at lunchtime and have got 6 wet teatowels!!!!!

Going to use a sheet of Bounty every time instead now!!!

EvesMama · 07/08/2006 16:26

why this obsession with lace-up shoes?

what would they say in the MN style shop?

coggy · 07/08/2006 17:07

LOL Cappucino...don't even think I own a pair....boots yes....but not really suitable for wearing in August!!!

Cappucino · 07/08/2006 17:08

surprised you can't buy Flylady shoes with integral floor dusters from the Flyshop

coggy · 07/08/2006 17:21

I love those FlyLady shoes!!!!!

Market them under Cappucino Clogs or something!!!

pecka · 07/08/2006 17:43

quootiepie - I agree, think your really supposed to take baby steps but its really frustrating stopping at shining sink when the house is a tip

do we just have to live with it until day whatever?

Quootiepie · 07/08/2006 17:56

i thnk we carry on semi-tidying as normal... but use the baby steps to build an actual routine . Otherwise you just give up, or it doesnt stick etc.

so I've wiped down my surfaces

god what a lot of crap was behind my microwave

now getting ready to 'bless' my home

I feel I could completely lose all sense of irony if I'm not careful

What's all this 'blessing' milarky??!! [confused emticon]

Cappucino · 07/08/2006 20:29

I signed up for the babysteps too

and apparently Monday is weekly homeblessing hour

you set your timer and go round doing 10-minute bursts of stuff

(btw Ruby the MOP! Oh my God! My life is completely turned around!!!)

anyone else find it impossible to spend 10 minutes sorting magazines?

lemonaid · 07/08/2006 20:29

Blessing is a later thing where once a week you set aside an hour and spend max 10 mins dusting, max 10 mins vacuuming, max 10 mins mopping (etc.). She calls it Home Blessing (but then she calls tears Purp;e Puddles)
