nope.... were literally dismantling the kitchen to find it... as its leaking into someones place... we're having to break some of the unit to get to what we think is the leaking pipe...

seems the last people have build their unit over some pipes... and we cant get to them

Oh god sounds like a disaster.

Ive just put 4 items for sale on ebay.Not alot but is a start.They probably wont sell but at least ive taken that first step.

cant use sink or washing machine until its all fixed... god knows when.

Hope it won't take long to get it fixed.You can still wipe the sink and keep it shining.

oh bloody hell Quootiepie!!! what a disaster!! the same thing happened us not that long ago and we broke the cupboards trying to get to pipes behind them and it ended up that the leak was coming from the room beside our kitchen (utility). is that possible for your situation? hope you get it sorted soon. can you turn your water off for a bit to minimise damage until you find the leak?

Its when we run the tap... think its where waste water goes, so cant use washing machine either. The pipe goes down through the floor and into someones storage place, so im not sure whos leak it is, as it seems to be 1/2 way between their ceiling and our floor. DH is not a handy man by any means... so I have no idea what we'll do! DH is snoozing in his chair now so no clean kitchen tonight!

What a pain for you Quootie - just as well your dh was there (even if he isn't handy) it's just nice to have someone else around in disasters.

I would imagine a plummer won't be cheap unless he finds its not your problem but the other persons.
