Quootiepie · 07/08/2006 12:01

oo - blimey I must get back into my FLYing - have cancelled the emails - got too many - I and know the 'routine' of things. Just get 'tied up' on the internet when I should be reading the emails instead of working.

Anyone care to remind me what I should have done so far this morning (in basic terms).

Quootiepie · 07/08/2006 12:18

got dressed. We are day 2. And shine sink before bed.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 07/08/2006 12:20

oh - I'm at the 'all the emails' stage (trust me it gets a lot heavier than that LOL)

Quootiepie · 07/08/2006 12:20

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 07/08/2006 12:22

aha - I guess I may as well join you from the start again - haven't 'flown' for ages

(I'm already dressed - and showered and my sink is clean - though not shiny as it's one of those horrible cream plastic things - yuck

Quootiepie · 07/08/2006 12:22

okay have been out at lunchtime from work and purchased microfibre mop head ready to - sheesh - bless my home this evening

wait a few months Ruby and you can buy lo a tiny sweeping brush of his/ her own and occupy them at other end of room. How smug did I feel when bf (who has cleaning lady) came round and watched her dd peer bemusedly at said article while mine were merrily sweeping away

Quootiepie · 07/08/2006 12:48

deary me... ive only just had my shower! I should be Flying by about 1 !

OOOH! baby dyson!!!

how far away is Christmas?

tortoise · 07/08/2006 13:06

My dd2 has a little dyson but its crap!
Ive had shopping delivery and put it all away.
Better do lunch now!

coggy · 07/08/2006 14:16

I have shined my sink...used so much Ajax it took me nearly an hour to rinse the flippin' stuff off.

Can't say I can see my face but it is as shiny as it's gonna get and some 5-year-old-immovable stains are gone!! HUURAH!!!

Going to read Day 2 now so I can try to catch up with everyone........

Also need to buy more teatowels as DH has already left a load of soapy stuff in my beautiful sink and I've been wiping with that teatowel madly!!!!

tortoise · 07/08/2006 14:19

Well done coggy.
I need more tea towels too.Very rarely used because dish washer does most of the drying before its emptied!
Day 2 easy get dressed and put on lace up shoes!

coggy · 07/08/2006 14:22

Oh okay - I am dressed but the lace-ups may be more of a problem....how about if I make an effort to wash my stinking slippers instead??!!!

tortoise · 07/08/2006 14:23

LOL! I have bare feet.I don't wear shoes indoors and prefer bare feet anyway.

Quootiepie · 07/08/2006 14:25

im bare foot too... but out of PJs!

OP posts:
coggy · 07/08/2006 14:26

Me too.....I guess Day 2 is done then (apart from the sink thing tonight!!)

Do you wipe your sink down during the day too??!!

tortoise · 07/08/2006 14:41

I dry the sink each time its used to prevent water spots,Have to say its working so far.
Sink and basic toy etc clear up before bed.Don't think i can go as far as putting my clothes out for the morning

fullmoonfiend · 07/08/2006 14:42

So is there anyone who has remained with flylady for a decentlenght of time?

Cappucino · 07/08/2006 14:47

aren't we supposed to be Blessing Our Home this evening?

with our timer?

I mean I went out and bought a microfibre mop and everything - surely everyone's not giving up at just putting their shoes on?

tortoise · 07/08/2006 15:03

Are we?
I havn't seen that bit.I don't have a timer!!
I just put some washing out and now its bloody raining! Was spose to get sunnier by this afternoon.
