tortoise · 06/08/2006 23:20

I own lce up shoes but i just pull them on and off.Lazy? Me? Nooooo!!
Well done Quootiepie.Does it feel good to have a sparkly sink?

pecka · 07/08/2006 08:45

Why dont we run a version of it on here to save people getting bombarded with emails.

For example This week we are .............

Today we are..................

?

what do you think

charliecat · 07/08/2006 08:47

Yes Pecka, Yes Was just coming to this thread to suggest copying and pasting the emails...but youridea better

lemonaid · 07/08/2006 09:09

I just started last week, so am only in babystep mode at the moment. I think it will make a difference overall but have to agree with Cappucino that some of the "motivational" messages are ... well ... a bit much. I'm trying to work out a set of email filters that will let me get rid of everythign but the useful ones.

shazronnie · 07/08/2006 09:17

I have blessed my house and because I got dressed instead of sitting round in jim jams I got it done before 9am!!

tortoise · 07/08/2006 09:36

Im up and dressed and dc are dressed too.I dont have shoes on though! I like to have bare feet indoors. Just have to go and do my hair then time for a bit of de-cluttering.Small steps, little bit at a time.
Have a good day FLYers!

Cappucino · 07/08/2006 10:08

have to admit that it was nice to see my shiny sink this morning

Bucketsofdinosaurs · 07/08/2006 10:24

Ooh this looks fun (well, about as fun as cleaning can be.)
I tried to clean my kitchen floor last week, could not work out how to do it. I managed 2/3 because I wouldn't have been able to escape otherwise so one day I'll have to do the other 1/3.

Quootiepie · 07/08/2006 10:28

yep, very satisfied with shiny sink. the baking soda was great. Your supposed to ony read 2 mins of emails a day, starting on day 2 (today). On day 8 or something your supposed to delete them all. Not dressed yet because water is heating up for shower.

Got to go and clean my sink!!
Hunted around for cleaner and found Ajax and Flash Power Spray.....oh which should I use???!!!

Good idea about those emails...

Quootiepie · 07/08/2006 10:38

Ajax according to FLYlady. Was i supposed to mix my baking soda with water, or just sprinkle it everywhere?

OP posts:
coggy · 07/08/2006 10:41

Thanks Quootie - I've just printed off my sink instructions (sad eh that I can't even remember what to do!!) and I'm off to use my Ajax.

I had a quick pop into the FlyLady shop......some scary things in there!!!!

I wrote my sink instructions out Did you see the flylady for your plughole???!?

OP posts:
coggy · 07/08/2006 10:49

I'm sad to say we already have one of those!!!!
Not a flylady one but a regular one because DH likes them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was admiring that blue overall thing!!!!!
The timer to make housework mor fun was also interesting!!!!!

lemonaid · 07/08/2006 10:57

I have to admit I did my sink with Cillit Bang rather than as per Flylady, because I didn't have the stuff she specified and knew if I waited until I got it it'd be another couple of weeks of procrastination.

Good tip on the UK group -- I'll check that out.

My kitchen is looking sooo much better.I also felt good seeing a shiny sink this morning.
My main thing to achieve first is to get rid of the junk that never gets used!
I have a huge pile of washing that i really want to get put away. Its been piling up for about 2 weeks.I did sort it into piles for me and the dc.

Quootiepie · 07/08/2006 11:19

OP posts:
tortoise · 07/08/2006 11:20

Quootiepie · 07/08/2006 11:21

its amazing...

OP posts:
Cappucino · 07/08/2006 11:42

how do you mop a bit of your floor in ten minutes?

it takes me that long to get the mop and bucket out of the cellar and fill it with water

I'm not getting down on my knees with a cloth. Not for nobody. Even if she has wings.
