I am around too Cats. I was out for lunch with friends and they were all having a glass of wine. I didn't dare as I am so sleepy already. I had to drive anyway and tend not to have any at all if I am driving.

Hi all, I'm back now. Just had to get DD ready for bed and upstairs. DH is sitting with her reading a book while she settles. DS is fairly good at getting himself ready for bed now although DH usually sits with him for a little while too. I am very lucky to have a DH who doesn't mind helping out sometimes. Wink

I am feeling pretty exhausted right now. I don't seem to be able to sleep all night so end up awake at silly o'clock! I will hopefully start to get better soon though. Someone said these AD tablets can take up to 6 weeks before they kick in properly. Shock

educatingarti · 01/06/2012 20:14

Cats - what time of day are you taking the ADs? When I was on fuoxetine I found I had to take them at night. If I took them in the morning, I got a sudden surge of energy at 10.00pm

CatsSleepAnywhere · 01/06/2012 20:17

Shock I'm taking them in the morning, that's what the doctor advised. Same type as you Arti.

AdoraBell · 01/06/2012 20:24

I can't advise about ADs as I had a Dr who was very reluctant to use them, but have you asked your Dr or pharmacist what time of day is best to take them?

What do you do when your youngest comes home from nursery, do you rest or do you feel that you should start running around? Could you, for a while, sit together and watch a DVD, or set a task like colouring a picture? Could you sit and rest while she does that? Or would going out for a walk be better for you? either while she's at nursery or when she comes out.

I hope you start to feel better soon.

CatsSleepAnywhere · 01/06/2012 20:25

I am watching a Jubilee tribute to the Queen. It must be lovely to be able to watch your family from years ago. Prince Charles is sitting there watching and talking about it all. Smile Crown

AdoraBell · 01/06/2012 20:27

Oops, gotta dash, DCs come out of school in half an hour!

Might chat later, if we stay in tonight.

CatsSleepAnywhere · 01/06/2012 20:30

I just don't have the energy --or motivation-- to do a lot at the moment so tend to watch telly with DD or sit at the computer with her while she plays games in the afternoon. Some mornings I try to do one or two small jobs but if I had a bad night I just chill out. I do more between 5 and 8 in the evening as DH is here to help keep an eye on DD.

I am all alone. The dcs are in bed and dh is still at work. I was happily beading but I am too tired to concentrate.

The kitchen looks like a bombsite but I can't face doing anything about it.

I am doing a course tomorrow so dh will be left to deal with it all. He often leaves me to deal with it all so he can't comment.

AdoraBell · 01/06/2012 22:38

My kitchen is halfway to being a bomb site, I could put a few things away, maybe when I've had my tea.

Dogs didn't get walked today the poor neglected beasts as I can't find my trainers and have 2 seperate sets of blisters from walking them in totally inappropriate foot wear two Da's running, but I needed the walks, so I'm not complaining.

Carrots hope your course gets well tomorrow

DDs are currently banished to their seperate rooms for having a fist fight in the car on the motorway.

Cats I know what you mean about motivation, I spent a good few years struggling too.

Morning all!

It is all go here this morning. I have to make a Jubilee picnic and Guide Jubilee cupcakes (does this mean fairy cakes?) before I leave at 9.30.

Morning carrots, Hope it all goes well at the Jubilee picnic! We might go to one tomorrow but it depends on the weather and how everyone is.

I feel really tired and groggy this morning. Hmm Was awake at various times during the night but eventually got out of bed just before 9.

carrotsandcelery · 02/06/2012 09:27

I went to bed before 11 which is early for me and took some Nytol. I was awake for a few minutes here and there throughout the night but mostly slept. What a difference a night's sleep makes.

I should be a bit more relaxed again after today.

I am hosting a small gathering on Thursday night so I will be doing a deep clean of all the public areas of the house on Wed and Thursday so will no doubt get in a state then again.

Well it nevers rains, eh? Muddles is fine, a lovely nose that looks like she headbutted something, but yes, I was more shook up than her.
Yesterdays' drama was that I managed to get stuck outside of my house and had to break in the back to gain access! The front door unlocked, but the mechanism jammed and wouldn't open. I even asked the nice burly man at the end of the row and he couldn't do it. Ended up getting my mate to boost me onto my bin and then up onto the wall over the top of my gate, borrow nice mans ladder to get down the other side as it was an 8 foot drop, and then pop open the dog door to reach in and unlock the back door (I leave the key in so no-one can jimmy the lock)!!! Shock I was abit Hmm over how easy it was to get the cover off the dog door and get in, but thank goodness really!
Anyhoo, off to the Village Show in abit. Got the girls in matching r/w/b dresses and put a flag on the Radio Flyer so we're all ready. I expect to come back with a first for Lols 'U3 decorating a bunting triangle' entry as obviously it was far superior to anything else produced at Tots!!! WinkGrinCrown
