Mmm chocolates!

Hope you have a lovely day carrots! Smile

I have just been to check our bank account and glad to say we now have money Grin We were overdrawn yesterday Shock and running out of food.
I have now been and done a bit of essential shopping so at least we have dinner for the next couple of days.

I took DD2 to the Drs this morning so they could check her ears when she was well (just wanted to check there was no underlying problem for the ear infections) & the nurse said one of them was a bit red & gave me a prescription for some ABs just incase (as well as some useful info on identifying it as an ear infection) Sure enough, her temp soared to 40deg this arvo, so she's back on the ABs Sad Apparently one of the Drs at our surgery used to work in ENT so we have an appointment to see her in a fortnight.

What's everyone up to tonight? I've got some bubbly on ice ready for when carrots gets here!

Scout19075 · 18/05/2012 20:05

Morning ladies!
Happy belated birthday Carrots!
Well done TS and Scout

Well, DH has gone off for the w/end in the Camper on his own. It's a local meetup and there's nothing at the campsite for the girls to do, so we've stayed at home. :( Missing him and a bit cross he's gone. All week Lol has been saying how much she's missing him and then he disappears for the two days he gets with her! I know this will help in the long run as he's meeting new people which will be easier without having to worry about a toddler and a baby, and next time we go we can stay in a big group, but the timing sucks. The house is still a mess from the holiday (camping stuff out that we haven't found a home for yet) and the ILs are coming over today! Crap!!! I just need to tackle one room at a time and not get too side-tracked. Home Blessing time I think!! :o

bessie26 · 19/05/2012 08:01

Home Blessing sounds like a good place to start camper - I really find it is an hour well spent, even though it does involve mopping the floor

I'm going to buy a steam mop next month, it must surely be easier & it also takes up less room than my existing mop & bucket!!

carrotsandcelery · 19/05/2012 08:15

Thanks camper.
There is also the crisis clean if you are in a real pickle. I am on my phone so cant link.
(cruelty free of course)

I have to come back to earth with a thump today as we have a massive fund raiser today. Dh is working all weekend and dd is banned from the stables (by me) so i have to take both dcs with me. My ddad has offered to take ds to his activity so he will still get to go and i only have to watch him in the chaos for one hour, for which i am extremely grateful.
Camper i am effectively on my own too, despite being on my own most of the week too. Dh is doing his best but it is his busiest time at work.

liveinazoo · 19/05/2012 17:27

we watched the witches on tv together this afternoon all snuggled up in a zoolet heapSmile

dd2 is finishing the homework shes been messing around with taking ages over and getting nowhere fast

talking of cats its terrorize the cats week hereSad
zoolets have gained too much confidence and keep picking them up/poking them/annoying them when they are sleepingSadSad

little zoo got a right talking to after i went toilet and came down to find atticus dripping from top fridgr freezer and poor scout sitting in a pool of water his ears down and dripping.little zoo was giggliing like a lunatic and spritzing him withspray gun ive been trying to train them off surfaces with.i have had to abandon this training temporarily as poor things have terror on their litte furry faces as the sight of the damn thing and they should be allowed out this weekend but im too scared they will not come back as they have been tormented so much

they visibly relax when the dcs are sent up at bedtime and come for lots loving and fuss for a bit
