Starting from March 1st lets babystep our way through the month, throwing in the odd mission.

Sign up here if you want to join in.

We have pointy sticks -> to get you off the sofa and chocolate and stickers as rewards.

Let's end our CHAOS and enjoy our sparkly homes.

Aha! You have all escaped poo scooping in my back garden. It looks like I will have to do it now as penance for Chaotic's cardigan. I'm sorry

I think I have the most pathetic list out of all of us so far today and I am off out again in a mo.

I did hang another load of washing though and put away all the groceries and work on a fundraiser we are doing tomorrow.

BC if I continue to call you BC do we look even more like a quiche? Grin

chaotic - there is one very easy way to avoid getting bleach on your clothes when cleaning the loo!

The bathroom is clean (I am ignoring the dusty blind). Just need to do "the other room" in the zone tomorrow.

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 14/03/2012 17:20

Shock bessie! Grin

The worst thing was it was round the sink, there was a little tiny black spot behind the sink so I poured some bleach onto it to shift it and it ind of watered down/got splashed and trickled down the side of the sink...and I put my arm in it :( Ah well it was only a cheapy like all my clothes

I've had a headache all afternoon. That has left me in no mood for housework or cooking. Thought I'd made progress with ds1 tonight when he replied 'scrambled egg and toast' when asked what he would like for tea. Then he ate about 5 mouthfuls and declared I should give the rest to his brother We will be having cereal or takeaway unless I start feeling better pdq

Ooh lovely!

I am so tempted to make it Wine o'clock.

I have had an easy day too. [weakling]

OP posts:
CatsSleepAnywhere · 14/03/2012 18:56

I know what you mean carrots about the Wine I feel tempted quite a lot lately but I think that is to do with my state of mind. Wink. I have been good though and resisted the urge apart from on Friday or Saturday nights.

carrotsandcelery · 14/03/2012 19:04

Cats I think it is in those moments that you definitely don't reach for it. Wink That could be a slippery slope to a whole new nightmare.

I do what bessie says instead and reach for the chocolate. Not healthy either but a bit easier to manage. Now I am trying not to have caffeine then a cheeky fully caffeinated Brew feels like something dangerous too.

I think it is all about the stuff that is restricted for me Blush

bessie26 · 14/03/2012 19:19

Must... resist... wine! (until the weekend)

carrotsandcelery · 14/03/2012 19:27

Poor dd is experiencing the horror of creating so much laundry as she is now doing her ironing. I almost feel guilty. Grin

I probably sound like a really horrid mum but those of you who have endured my moans about dd's laundry habits will know that this is for everyone's benefit. Blush

Doesn't sound bad to me at all! I can't wait until my boys are old enough to help. DS1 (3.3yo) sometimes puts his dishes in the dishwasher which is more than his dad does so I'm hoping to instill good housekeeping in them from a young age :)

Scout19075 · 14/03/2012 20:15

No, not bad carrots. Toddler helps put clothes in/out the washing machine/dryer and put away toys (not loads, but I try to get him to put one thing away -- like, a game he took out or all of the toy dishes). He's also at that stage of liking to help carry things like shopping baskets that are as big as him but "I do!" Funny to watch him struggle but takes bloody forever to get down the grocery aisle while he soldiers on.

Rumor has it MrScout is due home any time now. Shock

Scout19075 · 14/03/2012 20:25

MRSCOUT IS HOME! Shock

Sorry for shouting. I'm just surprised.

carrotsandcelery · 14/03/2012 20:33

Yay! Welcome home Mr Scout!

I have been hunting for a new banana recipe as ds is tired of the banana and out muffins and I found this recipe.

It is low sugar as, although it says 8oz sugar, that includes the banana.

I thought I would give it a go banana oat cookies

The only problem is, I could leave banana muffins alone very happily as I am not a muffin fanatic (although I age waaaaay too many of those cheese ones yesterday - they were a different story entirely) but cookies will be another matter entirely. Oh no!

Has she finished her ironing yet carrots?

I've lost track of exactly what I had to do this evening (list is downstairs, I am in bed), but I have done

  • WM & TD
  • sink & hob
  • clothes for tomorrow
  • food for tomorrow
  • in bed before 10pm! Shock

I haven't done much hot spotting or decluttering, but the bathroom is lovely & clean Grin

carrotsandcelery · 14/03/2012 22:29

She thought she had finished when she had done the few items that I had left on the ironing board for her. When she saw the basket still to be done and what was on the airer I could see her heart sink. I felt awful but the fact it is a chore might get the point across. [evil]

Morning all, .

I think DD may be ready for potty training at last! We bought some new pants for her yesterday and this morning she has decided to wear them Grin.

If she still wants them on for nursery I will stick with it and have to tell nursery about it.

bessie26 · 15/03/2012 08:21

Good luck with the potty training Cats!

DD2 & I are just eating our breakfast while I'm checking what we're having for lunch. Nothing else has been done yet, but my focus for today is decluttering & cleaning the utility room - this hopefully shouldn't take long, it's pretty small!

Do some clothes washing

find MOT certificate

That'll do for a start.
