We have pointy sticks -> to get you off the sofa and chocolate and stickers as rewards.

Let's end our CHAOS and enjoy our sparkly homes.

thats a frame of mind you cant argue with bc
i tend to stop offering options except find something to do or you can help me clean x/y/z

amazing how quick dd1 and 2 can suddenly be busy!Grin

liveinazoo · 10/03/2012 11:37

maybe she is young enough to be indoctrined to flylady ways as the norm rather than having to negotiate them and constantly reinforce/remind

BlackCatTryingToFly · 10/03/2012 11:40

That's a good one Zoo, .
He has now gone on the xbox but that temporarily upset DD as she had to go on a different telly to watch her dvd. (She has now calmed down).

liveinazoo · 10/03/2012 11:46
Smile i really have to prize myself away from colouring pork chop with little zoo and hang up some more washing...

if any consulation bc dd2 is terrifying ds by telling him a hair eating wolf will come when hes asleep tonight and he will wake up bald

liveinazoo · 10/03/2012 11:54

dd2 down and sniffing still.itching so checking for unwelcome "lodgers"Confused

carrotsandcelery · 10/03/2012 11:55

BC when mine are like that it is usually solved by exercise or cleaning as zoo says. Suggest tidying his room and he might suddenly be very busy Grin

Ds has constructed a string slide for his kid knex across the hallway from the staircase and is now charging us 10p to see his "monsters" slide down it. He is so pleased with himself I have paid him about 70p so far.

Does your ds like doing stuff like that? I know he is older and that my ds is immature for his age too but dh and I were having a laugh so your ds might too.

Sometimes I just start playing with something and they suddenly want to join in. After 10 mins or so you can wander off and they are absorbed enough to play away by themselves.

Sometimes you just have to ignore them and let them get over it themselves though as zoo suggests.

Oh no! zoo I hope she doesn't have them. DS had them when he was a toddler, Yuk!

I must go offline for a bit as it is lunch time and I have to load the washing machine.

Will be back in a bit.

BlackCatTryingToFly · 10/03/2012 12:00

Grin at your DS zipline carrots. That sounds fun!!

Thanks for the good advice! Smile

carrotsandcelery · 10/03/2012 12:01

zoo I laughed out loud at the hair eating wolf. You have to love that imagination, even if they are using it for evil sibling winding up Grin

Thank you for the meal ideas. Dh is also angling for quorn nuggets and chips (he loves chips on a Saturday for some reason - must be a childhood thing) so I might do that as a safe option. I did consider another pizza but I think they are going out for lunch and might be having pizza again already. Envy

I know her dmum would be delighted if she ate some veg but I don't want her to dread coming here either. If she is going to come a lot we will have to broaden our mutual options somehow. I might get her to make a list Grin

zoo EEeeekkk! As you know, we know the full horror of the itchy visitors. I am still traumatised and keep having to get dh to check my head which is getting on his nerves.

carrotsandcelery · 10/03/2012 12:07

I am STILL in my pyjamas! Shock

Thanks for the pointy stick BC. I did get up but ended up cleaning out the very stinky guinea pigs as I didn't want to do it once I was clean. Then I had to hoover round their cage and ended up doing the daily hoover round downstairs (dog hair issues) and managed to accidentally get Twilight's tail up the hoover tube. Shock She wasn't even bothered. She was more interested in trying to eat spilt guinea pig food.

Then I was felt I needed a sit down and a drink (of water - it is not Wine o'clock... yet)

Now I am stuck again.

I do feel I have done quite a lot though for a Saturday.

dd2 just has dandruff.in last few weeks she has sufferedvery dry skin too..must look up essential fatty acids for veggies.inpast given her lots oily fish to sort her out!

liveinazoo · 10/03/2012 12:44
carrotsandcelery · 10/03/2012 13:19

Will she not eat the oily fish now zoo?

I have finally got washed and dressed

I think today I learned why flylady tells you to get dressed straight away.

That said I have got a lot done.

You will never guess what we are having for lunch...

PIZZA!

I realised we had one left over from Tuesday's party tea and it needed to be used up. It has made me Smile after all my discussion of not having pizza tonight.

In my defence the girls aren't here so it will just be me and the boys.

I have also hung a load of washing and put my dressing gown in the wm as it got a bit guinea pigged while I cleaned them out.

I am glad you have no itchy scratchy visitors Zoo.

Afternoon carrots bc zoo and mlisc!

I'm finally online after a lovely morning introducing my dachshund to a little puppy who was meeting a dog for the first time Grin Made me a little weepy with nostalgia for when my pup was tiny!

About to jump in to babystep 10 (best way I think is to just jump in and get started) so going to set myself 15 mins to make some headway with the ton of filing sitting on my desk. Then 15 mins off before I think I might delve into the storage/coffee area underneath it!

Will be back shortly with Biscuit and Brew - wish me luck!

BlackCatTryingToFly · 10/03/2012 13:37

Good Luck LadyAgnes.

I have done all washing up (Although DH did most of the backlog yesterday) and have put the washing machine on with a white wash.
am just stopping for a Brew.

carrotsandcelery · 10/03/2012 13:39

Afternoon LA (can I call you that?)

That sounds like a good start. It is best just to get on with it as we are all Queens of coming up with good reasons why we can't do it quite just yet I suspect. Blush

We are off to ds's activity in a mo and to walk the dogs while he is at it.

Then we will have a quick trip to Tesco for quorn nuggets etc.

Then I will be heartily tempted to get back into my pjs (but will have to wait until dd and co are dropped off) Grin

Grin Hows things?

BlackCatTryingToFly · 10/03/2012 15:59

I suppose that should have been "How's things going?" Or what are you/have you been doing?

Not great at converse

carrotsandcelery · 10/03/2012 16:03

Hi BC Smile

We have taken ds to his activity and walked the dogs while he was there. Dh is amazed by how much fitter Twilight has got since we got her which has made me Smile

We then went to Tesco and spent an alarming amount of money on 3 puny bags full of nothing much Shock

I may have to have a Wispa to recover from the trauma. Grin

I seem to be very emoticonal today. I will try to rein them in. Wink
