Starting from March 1st lets babystep our way through the month, throwing in the odd mission.

Sign up here if you want to join in.

We have pointy sticks -> to get you off the sofa and chocolate and stickers as rewards.

Let's end our CHAOS and enjoy our sparkly homes.

liveinazoo · 04/03/2012 19:13

bc
sometimes blokes are so unhelpfulHmm
just two of you is better.it also helps you notices signs about to weereading a story while they sit on potty helps them relax, especially in the early stages and let it flowWink

it may be a little early but im declaring an alround bedtme for the kids as i have reached point where blood at boiling point and am ready to chop off heads and put on posts in front garden asa warning to any other little herberts that i am not in the mood to be messed with

Totally agree with liveinazoo - much prefer having him in uniform than ruining clothes/having to find something for him to wear each day. He only has the cheap M&S value stuff but the jumpers have to be bought specially as they're purple (can't get that colour anywhere else) and have the school's emblem (sp?) on them.

Anyhoos, it's ironed now and dh has 3 shirts so as long as I iron again before Thursday I'm ok!

So you should be proud of yourself too! I wouldn't know where to start with hanging wallpaper Confused

liveinazoo · 04/03/2012 19:36

ds paper was awful to hang-it was quite cheap and tore easily when had paste on itHmm

mine was a dream to hang..esp as its one those paste the wall then lob up paper...had wall done in under an hour!

liveinazoo · 04/03/2012 19:40

kids now in bed.heading off now.sleep well all

Scout19075 · 04/03/2012 19:53

Oh, I can see the advantages to uniforms, just can't picture 2.4 year old Toddler in one at this age.

I ate too much. [blurgh]

BlackCatTryingToFly · 04/03/2012 19:55

Night Zoo, sleep well.

bessie would you or Carrots (if she is back) be able to do the babysteps links tomorrow morning as I might not be around till late morning/lunchtime.
TIA if you can. x

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 04/03/2012 20:35

Night liveinazoo, hope it's a restful night

They don't start school nursery until 3 Scout and I thought he looked tiny at first. But he was only 3 in December and yet I clocked him doing something or other today and just thought 'wow, hasn't he grown!'

Tonight's dishes washed and/or put in dishwasher (delicious mushroom stroganoff for tea), sink cleaned and hob wiped.

I'm really enjoying that I'm starting to feel on top of things. Thanks ladies :)

bessie26 · 04/03/2012 20:41

I probably won't get chance to link until tomorrow afternoon as I'm taking DD1 swimming in the morning, but I've just had a look and it's a bit meh (IMO)

zoo I like DIY, but have only hung paper once & was totally crap at it (it was only lining paper to hide the cracks too!) - would rather tile & do grout any day. Which reminds me, DH hasn't done the sealant stuff round the sink Shock - do I remind him & risk grumpiness for the rest of the evening, or just leave it?

I am meal planning

Scout19075 · 04/03/2012 20:51

Chaotic, I think I knew that but I know of a playgroup/nursery that has started taking them at 2.6. I know someone who started sending her daughter at 2.6 (she's now 3.0) and they have uniforms, too and this girl is tinier than Toddler. I just can't imagine, in two months, putting TS in a uniform. I see the benefits, really I do I went to a uniformed school in the US, which is the unusual and not the norm, and it was great not having to worry about what to wear every day and keeping up with the girl at the next desk over. I just think think 3 is so little....

I really should go and do the washing up. I need a washing up fairy.

I have done the meal plan

carrots how were/are the shoes? Are you going to wear them always & forever? Grin

carrotsandcelery · 04/03/2012 22:26
Grin

Hi bessie - the shoes will be hidden (from dd) in the bottom of the wardrobe and brought out to sigh over now and again.

I did manage to wear them and dance in them without looking like I was running into a strong wind (dh's comment about the girls in his office in high heels). Dd did go off with them at one point during the wedding Shock but on the whole I survived the night, as did the shoes.

We had a great time catching up with family and I wasn't too sore which was a relief after my escapades.

Back to reality tonight. We got in about 9 and had to get he dcs scrubbed for school in the morning and that is about all we have achieved.

I will have A LOT to do tomorrow so I hope someone is sharpening a pointy stick for me for tomorrow [please]

See you in the morning everyone.

Ouch! It is not quite pointy enough though zoo as I slept in. We still made it to school with 5 mins to spare though. Phew!

Morning everyone! Today's babystep is babystep no 5 as bessie posted last night. We have to read our reminders. I was a bit meh about this, as bessie said but it does actually remind you of the little jobs you need to do.

Ta Das:
washed and dressed (so glad I ironed loads last week or I would have had nothing)
breakfasted dcs
made ds's packed lunch and snacks
got dcs to school
chatted to other mums for ages Grin
loaded wm and put it on
loaded dw and put it on
had breakfast and now having a Brew

I have a lot to do as the place looks really bad after our trip away etc.

Keep jabbing me with that stick please zoo. I am Shock at your rising time today. I will keep a stick ready for you at tea time Grin

carrotsandcelery · 05/03/2012 10:08

today's mission is a good one to scrub our work tops thoroughly.

This week's missions seem to be in the kitchen so should be quite good ones.

I am off to do today's one and then a massive tidy up around the house.

I will be popping in for Brew frequently if anyone else is around.

BC thinking of you xx

BlackCatTryingToFly · 05/03/2012 11:15

Morning all, I am back briefly before I trot off to nursery to collect DD.

Just going to make a Brew.

Scout19075 · 05/03/2012 12:23

Toddler has been challenging today and I'm exhausted.

BlackCatTryingToFly · 05/03/2012 12:29

Signing in for lunch time - today is melted cheese on toast.

Scout I remember those days well and we still have them occasionally!

Anyone around?
