Gawd. Not making any progress. Can everyone just stop eating, hover over the floor and don't touch ANYTHING. This from a household with just 2 of us largely. And it's NOT ME who ever makes any mess. I am looking at you DH.

I can't believe it either!

Rubbish night, DS2 up at 3.30 and I don't think he went back to sleep after that!
I did on and off.

So been back to bed while DD napped but now just feel crap - hate sleeping in the day really.
Rubbish weather too, yuck.

On such cheerful thoughts I leave you as have orchestra, sch runs, usual DC tea, bed, etc. to go then bed early hopefully :)

I am not making much headway here

JKS - the sleep thing is a killer. DS2 is one for waking up at 4/5am and being awake for an hour. DH and I keep falling asleep on the sofa amongst the remains of our dinner and waking up at 11.30pm with a crick in our necks and the kitchen still to sort out before we can go to bed. Not fun!

Today's main aim is to get ready for DD's birthday tomorrow.

Today:

• bake DD's cake in the oven
• ice cake (thinking plain white for birthday to add smarties & candles, rather than usual choc icing)
• wrap last present (well from DS1 really so when he's home)
• cards
• decide about meeting up with people, was meant to be at park, hmm.
• maybe ring church hall to see if free?

Ongoing:

• watch Prison Break DVDs & give back to PIL; finished ep12
• family tree (scanning in old certs & photos & email new contact)
• buy frames to hang on the wall & hang up as many photos as poss; need some sizes
• bathroom cabinet needs sorting
• Spring Cleaning: think of anything else
• lose weight! (From: 66kg; Target: 54kg); Scales said 59.8 :)
• book bowling for orchestra social - check pottery painting place first
• sort wills
• toys need a good sorting out; Started

And well done on your weight loss, you are doing really well. I have lost 10lbs since the beginning of January which I am pretty chuffed about, many more to go though...

Hello everyone, glad you've all kept this going. I've been a little preoccupied with having A BOYFRIEND and have hardly been on mn! It's still going well with him, dsis was visiting from Japan at the weekend and met him and I've met some of his friends. He hasn't met the dc yet but there's no rush. If we stay together then he will and if not then it's best that he hasn't!

Am going to need this thread to get and keep me organised soon as I have a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In a preschool, 8,15 - 12,30 Mon-Fri. So mornings, school run etc will be tricky and I'm going to need to be mega organised but I'm so glad to have found work! XH isn't working at the mo so I'm hoping he can cover most of it and otherwise I can pull in some favours from friends.

Am going to need some new strategies for keeping on top of stuff eg the washing as I currently put a load on first thing and hang it out after the school run so any tips gratefully received!

We are in the process of moving bedrooms round (boys into current spare, DS1's room becoming the study), so I've got stuff all over the house in the wrong place and the chaos is driving me mad. Decorator is coming Friday and then new carpet next Wednesday and then we can get organised again.
