DS1 is on holiday now, he has 3 weeks instead of 2. Loves the thought of a week at home without DS2 shadowing him!

Been swimming with him & DD this morning which he's been wanting to do for ages :)

Today:

• DS2 to sch/DH to work DONE
• swimming DONE
• DD nap Doing
• wm & dw on DONE
• wet washing hung out DONE
• jacket potatoes ready DONE
• lunch & tidy up
• ironing & put away
• anything else?
• DS2 home, check bag & repack
• garden time?/walk round block?
• tea x 4 & tidy up
• DC to bed/tv & early night for me

Ongoing:

• watch Prison Break DVDs & give back to PIL; finished ep12
• family tree (scanning in old certs & photos & email new contact)
• buy frames to hang on the wall & hang up as many photos as poss; need some sizes
• bathroom cabinet needs sorting
• Spring Cleaning: think of anything else
• lose weight! (From: 66kg; Target: 54kg); Scales said 60.7 :)
• book bowling for orchestra social - check pottery painting place first
• sort wills
• toys need a good sorting out; Started
• sort kitchen stuff in a box; Started
• general toddler-proofing needed as DD gets more mobile...
• Freecycle some stuff; Listed; waiting for person to reply with time

Keep losing thread, not posting enough, obv. Frog spawn has appeared but pond v. low it may need a top up or poor taddys won't make it.

Doing puzzles until dd wakes up as DS is watching tv. Lazy but lovely

I have:
Cleaned the house from its very top to its very bottom. Scrubbed, dusted, hoovered, mopped and sorted.

It was kind of a "now or never" with the holidays looming. Today effectively last day of school (only assembly tomorrow).

I am left with a pile of DS's "stuff" on the kitchen table and we are going to go through it later. Then "we" (hopefully not just me) are going to sort the playroom, once and for all, finally, so that we can at least start the holidays on the right foot.

Such a shame this beautiful weather is going to come to an end. We had what was effectively a "summer party" after school yesterday. Four families, 10 children, paddling pool, all in their swimmers, running round like loonies, hot dogs, lollies, parents chilling in the sun..... sheer sheer heaven. More please!

Keep forgetting it's the Easter holidays starting, not the Summer ones!!!

Right, off to DS's swimming now, so must run.

Hello - I'm here! We have been manically busy with DS2's party last weekend, end of term things and then DS2's birthday yesterday.

We are also poorly, again. Wheezy and snotty and bleugh. I went to bed early last night, which is very unlike me, and I do feel a bit better today although I think I CBA with the park - DS1 has had 3 hours outside in the garden this morning, how much more fresh air can a child need??

The weather is just lovely, I'm taking advantage of the breeze today and getting all the bedding washed and dried before the clouds come back tomorrow.

Right must go and peg the next load out.

Well, Freaki the "full on" treatment was in desperate need of doing, and I will do bare minimum for the next 3.5 weeks..... . Actually was quite satisfying in a sad sort of way, but I found myself saying to the DC "don't touch anything" about three hundred times which isn't fair on them but I just could not bear for it all to be undone in a nano-second

Just back from HMHB and it's snowing!! Hope you all have a happy Easter.

Not a hint of snow here, thankfully really.

Busy with holiday trips and outings, today was beach (vvv chilly!) & soft play for a birthday party (even DS2 was a star today - though we left his shoes on).

Tomorrow we have nothing planned, yey :)

Sat we are off to stay with friends, egg hunt, lunch & dinner out, then home on Sunday, hopefully the kids cooperate with sleep - my big worry with going away.

House is mostly ticking over, though laundry pile is looking huge....and nothing 'above & beyond' getting done at all.

It is a holiday, and I am filing. Still, I am not emptying dustbins.
Off to DD2 and DGC3 tomorrow, Rah.

We did, though not much sleep as I had a night out on Fri, then we went away on Sat and DS2 mucked about at 1-3am, fun.

Hiya JKS. Can't believe it but our little dgd is walking. That mini Frankenstein style. Soooo cute.

I wish DD would get walking, she is sooo frustrated atm. She isn't crawling, not doing much bum shuffling and still not rolling.
She wants to be on her feet all the time and is just about 'let-go-able' with her vtech trolley thingie. But not cruising. Weird.

Jobs piling up around me - DC clothes need a good sort out (again), wardrobes are full of empty hangers and Areas of Doom are multiplying.....

Boo to areas of doom. At least my printer was good today. I tried to spend some time with my piles today, but there is still lingering cat pee smell in office. I will clear the plastic cover off tomorrow and chuck it outside.
So looking forward to that

Hello all, we have moved house (an excellent way of getting rid of clutter!!). I am currently waiting to go into hosp to get my gallbladder out! Spent fortnight in hosp at beginning of March with the pain! Only got internet up and running today. PC now in DS room, connected up to his tv so feels very strange. Hope you all are well. Will be back posting again as dont want this house to disolve under all the clutter!!

I am here, Easter holidays are a bit exhausting though Am on top of the house though, and had the living and dining rooms carpets professionally cleaned yesterday and they look amazing.

I will be back on Monday, I need to get more organised and make time to take DS2 to a the occasional playgroup/swimming class. Poor child is utterly neglected from that point of view!

JKS - I feel your pain with DD. T has been walking 2 weeks and is a much happier soul now that he can get himself from A to B. Fingers crossed she will be on the move soon!

Also - I have waited for the people to come and collect the car for its service; 9-11 they were meant to turn up....still no sign, grrrrrr.
I want a shower but was waiting for them, know as soon as I step in the doorbell will go.
DD went for nap earlier than expected so will be up before I'm even dressed!
