Hi everyone, I haven't been around much either, have been snowed under with work. I't going to be like this for the next 4 weeks at least, until half term. I have so much to do, about 3 hrs a night at the moment, so have let the flying slip a bit, have just been surviving , but have managed to keep sink shiny, and of course get dressed (would be a bit worrying for the kids if I didn't!)
Going to get dressed in a bit and then do an hour of sorting out the house before going out for the day.
Everyone seems run down - I wonder if it's the time of year?
gossip I read about Wicca a lot as a teenager, used to read cards for people and was really into it into my 20's. Not sure why I didn't stick with it but I do find it fascinating. I think I still believe a lot of it and kind of use some things from it all the time, but not in any strict way.
Well done for all the work to your house! we have been living here for over 5 years, we still have some doors with no handles, coving that is unpainted, a kitchen that needs painting and there is only one room in the house that is actually finished. I am going to sit down and list everything that needs to be done and agree with Dh when it will get done I think, it's ridiculous , as you and Carrots say, it's just procrastinating, doesn't actually take that long.
Right, just waiting for DH to get out of the shower before it's my turn, then will get the house sorted. DH has been helping more, I haven't done any of the missions in the bedroom as a lot of it is his mess, he just leaves his clothes and books in a pile, and the whole room is so dusty it makes me sneeze for days if I disturb it.
Todays list:
get showered, dressed and dd dressed
hour house blessing thingamajig
washing up
freeze some food
turn my vodka and gin mixtures
go to a food and beer festival
dinner
wine
tomorrow:
tackle bedroom missions and hoover it
change sheets
washing sorted and away
more bloody school work...shine sink etc
evening routine
Wow that was long, sorry, just that I had to read and catch up and then had lots to say!
