Oh, something funny happened today.

My DC go swimming on Tuesdays, and I have always thought one of the other mums was rather WAG-esque.... (I do live in Essex after all). I don't really know her very well, but we just kind of chat or whatever whilst waiting for the children.

Anyway, found tonight, she actually IS a Footballers Wife!!!

Only problem is, I can't work out who her hubby is?!?!?!?!?

Know what you mean about wires and cables. Perhaps there is a creative solution. make them into a garden feature, mobile, fence to keep out rabbits/badgers/foxes Erm.. there must be some use for them.
Have had a not very productive day, will engage with list tomorrow.

Maybe i can take the wires to our recycling place then. Nanny's Dad works for BT, i was hoping he'd take them, he said he'd have 1!!!

JKS - I am in Norf Essex, we have no decent clubs anywhere near, I got the impression that whichever club it is isn't that close as she is always saying that he is away, I just hadn't clicked until yesterday that he is a footballer!!

I had very painful hips in pregnancy, if I lay on my side at night, which was generally comfortable with big bump, after a while it was start to feel like someone had set alight to the hip underneath... horrible.

However, my biggest gripe with the last trimester was heartburn. Oh My God. Unbelievable. Even in mid labour, the heartburn was furious and full on. The second, literally the second DS was born..... gone. I wasn't sure what I was most relieved about - the birth being over or the heartburn gone!

Took DS to the rhymetime thing at the library today. Not sure if I will go again, the woman running it was a bit rubbish and DS was just full of beans and wanted to rush about with another little boy there - and almost stamped on a baby All the little girls were sat quietly listening to the reading. Then he started saying 'Mummy I want to go home' quite loudly and wouldn't join in with the songs, so we left. Nightmare. May just take him to the softplay session at the leisure centre instead on Wednesdays so that he can let off some steam....

DS2 only eats Kipling Country Slices cakes! Waitrose had run out when i did my order the other day, Nearest Tesco doesn't sell them, but corner Nisa supermarket place does, phew. Have also bought some other fruit cakes that are much cheaper in the hope i can convert him...

DS1 overtired already and it's only Wed. Tears on school run home as i wouldn't stop driving and reach his kit-kat for him!

JKS, the dress looks lovely - Seraphine stuff is v nice, had some lovely jeans when I was pregnant with DD.

Space, the job was good. Same people/team as my old job but a different role which is much less stressful and most importantly lots fewer hours.

Ali, that just sounds like a boy thing, DS would be exactly the same whereas DD would have sat quietly!

purple - I hope it is just a boy thing! It is really odd because he plays quite happily on his own at home for ages and has a really good concentration span but was just a nightmare today!

I always feel inadequate if I compare lists and dones. But I am pleased with my day today even though I only seemed to get one thing done. DH STILL at home, but seems to be picking up.
Washing which was blowing merrily on line yesterday is still out there and now wet through .

Mini - I don't even attempt to put washing out between mid-October and at least mid-March for that very reason. Things end up wet again, and covered with leaves etc (we have a lot of trees in our garden) and then have to be re-washed.

Freak - well done on the washing My bottle neck is putting the bloody stuff away, it seems to take forever and there is always more!

I have just made new files in my lock box for all the current paperwork - all neat and organised and ready to put things in as they arrive :)
So now I can change 'Organise paperwork/filing', to 'sort and shred vast 3-year paperwork backlog'

DS2 up just before 6 again but i managed to sneak him downstairs quietly enough not to wake DS1 today so he only came down at 7.30 - think he needed it after yesterday's emotional-ness.
