JKS She still has her very trendy purple Hannah Montana ones,
her prescription is strong enough to warrant a spare pair so she had a trendy pink pair of Hannah Montana ones, and the opticion told us if we 'lost' those to pick a new 'spare' pair and get tinted,
I wasn't going to bother with the extra pair but we are hoping to go on holidays and knowing something would happen to her non tinted glasses and we'd be snookered!
I still had to pay for frames & tinting, just not her lenses,
although I do think it is a disgrace that not one doctor advised me what to do regards sunglasses after all she has bi-vocals not as if she can see a wee bit with out her glasses!

Plum - hope seeing dniece goes well, you are def. doing the right thing.

Wasting - walk in the rain sounds good I confess that once we have got as far as the park at DS speed and he's had a run around, I shove him in the buggy and we go for another walk at my speed for 20 mins or so otherwise I don't get any exercise.

We are having a lazy one today. DH has just gone to Sainsbury's and then we will finally get round to breakfast. DS is fed but still in his pjs, I'm still in pjs and have only been out of bed for half an hour.
Need to get some laundry done today and do a bit of de-cluttering but that is it.

Thinks its going to be a lazy bank holiday sat for me.

Alice what did you get in for dd as her present from the baby?

I'm still missing an AF, but definitely not pg so I think really need to get bloods done!

Went to see niece, and the dcs played she didn't want to come to the shop with me, and froze when I said maybe next week we could go outside to play (meaning outside her door), so I do think she is just painfully shy around some people and obviously my brother,mum & dad don't have the patients, they think she just shouldn't be like that with them
Anyway told my mum she wasn't pleased when I told her some home truths but hey ho, she has decided to call down and give her some money towards her uniform for school, so some progress!
Although dn's mum said my brother threatened her with SS again my family drive me mad!!

Lovely week at my friend's, but v tired now. Early to bed tonight I think.

Got back this pm, dc surprisingly well behaved on our 5.5 hour, 4 train, 1 bus journey but still hard work lugging everything around! Was pleasantly surprised with cleanliness of house when I got back, I'd felt like i'd left it in a real state but is ok...still faint eau de wee aroma though, really do need a carpet cleaner.

Have decided to paint dc room to freshen it up before beds arrive, at the mment it is dingy cream with unremovable marks all over (and dd's ballerina) and I am going to do it white or (non dingy) cream. Technically I need landlords permission but am going to chance that one! Really excited about it all coming together now

Not posted today, and don't have a list, but am pretty darned pleased with myself that have got through a Saturday whilst DH has buggered off to a stag party...

So in brief I/we(DCs):

• bought and wrapped birthday presents x 2
• had lunch (!)
• got ready for party
• went to party and had a great time with our lovely twin friends
• came home!

And that is it really, no jobs done (other than presents). My list of yesterday said I would get the ironing done this morning.... eek. Didn't manage it.

Tomorrow's first job I suspect is being "sympathetic" to DH in his hour of desperate need...... will send the DC's in with tea and toast to help his hangover.

Suspect I might be mostly a weekday person on this one..

Morning all - am a bit peeved as was meant to be my lie-in but all was noisy this morning so i was awake with everyone, grr. I normally make such an effort to keep things quiet - take the boys into the kitchen straight away for b-fast with the door shut, etc.
DH goes into the room under our bedroom and lets the boys make loads of noise, when they finally go into the kitchen and bash about they leave the door open, etc.

Oh and DH woke me at 5.30 going for a wee (why on earth does a grown man need to get up in the night for a wee fgs?!) and i didn't really get back to sleep properly after that
