What colour is your front door?

We are looking for a new composite door but unsure on the colour. I think we should go for white as all the windows are white but DH thinks it will look old fashioned?

Ours is a beautiful olive green. We have white windows too and I love the contrast.

I’d like purple, but doors are spends and my brown one is (technically) fine.

Why would a white door be old fashioned?

We’ve just got a new door it’s slate grey with grey surround. We have white window frames, but never thought that they wouldn’t match as we saw many doors before picking this one. It’s on the front of a porch so doesn’t matter that it’s not the same colour as windows, we are really pleased with it.

I don’t know. I never know. I can check but then I won’t remember it for next time I’m asked. I’m pretty sure this is a standard test of visual memory and proves I’m totally shit at it.
