I want to paint my hallway but I'm not sure what colour. What colour is yours? Photos appreciated too Smile

Very very pale grey.. With wooden floors.

Rubytinsleslippers · 08/11/2020 19:19

The paint is called ' adventure writer' which is actually is a slightly more yellow based hue than magnolia. We have a dark hall so needed light colour and white was too cold.

Pale grey, polished pebble from dulux.

Meredusoleil · 08/11/2020 19:24

Under the dado rail is caramel latte and above the dado rail is vanilla white. Love it 😍

ElectricEels · 08/11/2020 19:24

@MissPollyPops do you know what the colour is called?

I think it was B&Q own make durable stuff.. Hempstead maybe?

Cherry321 · 08/11/2020 19:37

Polished pebble. I know it’s everywhere but it looks great with my oversized yellow habitat kura lamp shades

WellTidy · 08/11/2020 19:49

Just finished redecorating ours. Above the dado rail is bleached lichen 1 (I think it is 1, but it may be 4, whatever the deepest of the bleached lichen colours is) and below is bleached lichen two shades lighter than below the dado.

Those are the shades anyway. We had them mixed by valspar in the v700 so it is washable.

Fab thanks, loads to look at!

Ours is F&B Joa’s white (skirting, walls & coving) ceiling is lighter shade but can’t recall. Wooden floors.

imabusybee · 08/11/2020 23:14

F&B India Yellow on top half and Wursted on the bottom half which is panelled. I absolutely love it

Cecilia2016 · 09/11/2020 00:25

We have dulux easy care washable goose down. It’s similar to polished pebbles but a bit darker than polished pebbles.

Bluesheep8 · 09/11/2020 07:08

A copy of f and b elephants breath but I'd like to change it. Will post a pic

averythinline · 09/11/2020 07:20

f & b cooking apple green bottom and i think timeless above ....north facing not a lot of light - bamboo floor - fresh and warm colour..

needs redoing am trying to convince dh to have interesting wallpaper but I keep disappearing down rabbit holes and changing my mind which and I seem to have very expensive taste in wall paper -
I really like the orange white f&b colour - think it could be warm as well as light .... so may change plan again!

DavetheCat2001 · 09/11/2020 13:13

We have just painted ours Stiffkey Blue.

New flooring still to go down and bannisters to be decorated.

A very boring magnolia.

But I want to paint it a very light blue. No windows in our hall other than the front door.

So I want to lighten it best I can.

Also the current paint isn't wipeable which was a huge mistake for a hallway.

So I think I light blue, washable paint will brighten it up and make me less stressed.

All the doors are gloss white and our coat and shoe rack and shelving in the hall are too and I always think light blue and white is a really airy, clean look.

MaverickDanger · 09/11/2020 13:55

Colour matched F&B Wevet.

We have quite a big hall and makes it look light & airy. We have different colours coming off it & it picks up those tones really nicely.

ScouseQueen · 09/11/2020 14:08

Bookmarking for ideas, I want to do our hall and lots of these sound great

Tomcullenisahero · 09/11/2020 14:13

@DavetheCat2001 I love your hall! I'm not brave enough for dramatic colours, my entire house is white or very light grey!
