Hi all, I'm searching for a holiday with the following criteria and finding it so difficult. I hope someone has personal recommendations please! (side note - why can you not filter by room layout on all these sites!)

  • anywhere in Europe hot in September - Greece, cyprus, Turkey, Portugal, canaries
  • hotel with more than 4.5 rating on TripAdvisor and min 4 star
  • all inclusive (must have great veggie options)
  • 2 adults, one 3yo
  • less than an hour from the airport
  • must have separate sleeping area for my toddler (happy with a sofa bed but must be a sep room)
  • small slides/splash park
  • near to a sandy beach
  • £2k for 8/9 nights in Sept (or £3.4k incl flights)

I think I've looked at 50 hotels, and it's looking like what I want is around 4-5k for the holiday which seems crazy to me! Do I need to resign myself to not going or is there a hidden gem somewhere I'm missing?

Thank you!

Thanks so detailed! Did you see how the food was for veggies?

I can only comment on breakfast, and I never have meat for breakfast, so it was very good. Huge variety, constantly replenished and very good quality. Different options everyday. Omelette station, crepes, etc etc.
And I know you want to do AI, but we were paying for drinks buy the pool and they were the cheapest we've encountered for years!😄€4 for huge (plastic) glass of cava.

Re your comment about flights to pp, we usually book everything separately. Hotel and taxi through Booking.com and flights with whoever we can get the best time, think it was EasyJet for Tenerife.

@alicewasahorse

ive stayed there and the veggie food was at best mediocre, so was the rest of the food, mostly my complaint was they didn’t change anything day to day so it got boring

Have a look at Golden Taurus Park On the Costa Brava.

Just to add it might come up as half board but you can change to AI and family suite.

GF Isabel in Tenerife ticks most of your boxes. We’ve been a few times now and always loved it but DC are older so we’ve been doing HB/BB more recently as nice restaurants nearby but we have done AI there too. Look at the jet2 website as we usually get Siam Park tickets included when we book.

Lytos Beach or Stella Palace both Crete have most of your requirements. Possibly over budget but if you play around with the dates it might work. Late sept or early Oct will be cheaper but still warm.

I would say the only thing is the beach is not great at either but the pool slides are amazing for kids.

Both will be too expensive. We're paying a lot more than her budget in April.

Club Mac or Fergus Club in Majorca might work and significantly cheaper (although maybe not 4*)

Hi @Ftm030201 we stayed here twice with toddlers as had such a lovely holiday! An ‘Aparthotel’ so you have the sofa bed & balcony in a lounge plus separate bedroom. In general that is what you want to search for with that room configuration.

Quick flight. Lovely location, walk along the pine walk towards the small town. Shallow, clear sea perfect for paddling.

Restaurant area better than many hotels we’ve stayed in but suitable for little ones too.
