How many long haul trips a year do you take?

For leisure, not work. We are thinking of doing three this year and then a few hops over to Europe.

Once in my lifetime when I was a child.
I am planning one next year though.
I have only done 4 short haul trips that involved flying in the past 30 years.
We are a no car household also, so I will excuse myself a little over the carbon footprint.
