Have decided on Spain in the summer for 10 days but don't know where to go for the other holidays so tell me your plans!

A week in York at the end of May.

Hopefully a few days in Bamburgh later in the year, I went last year to see The Last Kingdom exhibition and it was fantastic, so hoping to go again this year, the exhibition is coming back, with more props and costumes, etc.

Skiing in France in feb
LA / Mexico in July
French alps again in august
Couple of long weekends in the caravan in Peak District and cotswolds.

So far, we've got a hotel room booked for Orlando in August (to celebrate DH 50th). However, if the flight prices don't come down we won't be going anywhere.

Skiing in Austria for a week in March
Seville and Grenada for a week with family in May then Costa del Sol for long weekend with friends at the end of that week
Portugal for a week in the summer holidays
Devon for October half term.
We haven't had any family holidays abroad since the DC were born (9 and 13) until last year and are now feeling very grateful that we can finally afford to.

Wow! these holidays!

We’re getting married in June, and instead of a fancy wedding we’re going to have a registry ceremony and small afternoon tea just for close family after. With the money we’re not spending on a big wedding we’re going on a nice family holiday. Not decided where yet - Thailand, Mexico and Dominican Republic have been mentioned but DS2 will only be 18 months so will probably end up somewhere more child friendly like Majorca or somewhere in Greece.

In September me and DP are having our belated honeymoon just us two for a long weekend to Paris.

I would warmly recommend Albania and North Macedonia for a summer vacation.
Ohrid in North Macedonia is a beautiful lake town and quite affordable. I ordered the local delicacy Ohrid trout with pappardelle pasta, a cheesecake topped with perfectly-in-season cherries, and a bottle of local Zlaten Dab beer and the bill came to less than £13.

On the back ofBebbanburgIsMines post (Thank you) about the Last Kingdom Exhibition I have just booked tickets and 5 nights in the area for DHs birthday, super excited.
Now have 5 nights Pisa/Lucca in April
10 nights in Tavira, Eastern Algarve in May
7 nights in Nice in June
5 nights in Northumberland in early July
Was planning a touring holiday in France and Spain , Sept/Oct but having got caught up in the Gilets Jaunes protests in 2018, a truly awful experience, I'm waiting to see what happens re the farmers protests first.
Possibly Lanzarote early Dec
Very lucky, retired so can avoid the expensive school holiday periods and we almost always self cater as not that keen on hotels these days and don't do long haul anymore.
