Apologies if this thread already exists but I love hearing people’s holiday plans!

We’ve just booked for Canada and it’s got me excited for 2024 travel! Tell me what you’ve got planned for next year?

Nothing as of yet really planned as I live in one of those 'exotic' places where people come on holiday, but only a few places left for us to explore. (and mentioned here!)

Envious of those planning Europe get aways, and I have always fancied Canada.

For those planning Japan have a great visit (I lived there, and have visited many times) but dont forget maybe to look at the very south and the tropical islands, fabulous and easy to get to by train.

For anyone planning Japan on a budget I fully recommend The Dragon Trip organised tours. I did 13 nights - Tokyo, Kamakura, Hakone, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka with all travel and loads of activities included. It does involve hostel stays but I paid extra for private rooms and there was a big age range of travellers - no gap year students! They also do a luxury version of the trip staying in nice hotels and a family trip as well.

#notanad - completed my bucket list trip last year!

Orlando at Easter
Majorca in July
Center Parcs in October

After loving Croatia last year we are returning this year to a small island called Sipan. It's beautiful, unspoiled and quiet with just a couple of restaurants and the most beautiful water for snorkelling/swimming. We can kayak to a bar across the bay for a drink. Can't wait! It's just me and my husband as our kids are older, so the lack of activities isn't an issue. Not a family holiday location really. which is what I need as a teacher- I always tend to go adults only as I need a break from other people's kids! Ha ha.

Villa in Cyprus in July & a Butlins weekender so far! Would also like to book a couple of short breaks - ideally a European city & a UK break, but will have to see how finances go.

London for long weekend in March, Portugal in October so far

Just back from Valencia.
Gran Canaria in March.
Probably Lisbon in May.
Fancying another sun holiday early Sept and possibly Dubrovnik late October.

Always have a long weekend with family over the summer but no idea where yet.

March - 3 nights in a shepherds hut in Wales (me & DP)

July - 7 nights in a tent on the Welsh coast (with my DC’s & some friends).

Last went abroad 12 years ago (Paris).

10 nights AI in Majorca over Easter. 10 nights in Whitecliffe Bay holiday park on the Isle of Wight in August. I think (hope) the kids will love it as apparently we have direct access to a nice stretch of beach. They’re only 9 & 5 so it’ll be a real bucket and spade and sand holiday.

I really want to do a nice warm holiday in Oct half term but don’t know where! Not a long flight so need to think.
