If you could have a week's holiday in November where would you go? UK or abroad.

I'm away in September (Greece) but dh and I have annual leave in November too. I've got some unexpected cash coming so quite fancy going away when we're off in November. Usually we just go to the lake district in the winter.
Any ideas for a change?

Well I'm booked to go to San Francisco for 5 days this Nov so that's obviously where I'd go.

rosydreams · 12/08/2023 22:44

i saw a good deal for Egypt for all inclusive for a week in November, selected whole month on love holidays i think that sounds rather nice

gogomoto · 12/08/2023 22:45

I'm going to Morocco, looks really nice and quite affordable

We went to Puglia (Arborobello) in February, and it was genuinely one of the best holidays I've ever had. Absolutely beautiful place, really interesting and great food.

colouringindoors · 12/08/2023 22:47

Depends what you want from the holiday. I'd go to Northumberland (can't afford abroad). Dramatic castles and coastline, cosy pubs and cottages....

Brrr, that’ll be chilly!

Soontobe60 · 12/08/2023 22:48

Marrakesh, Barcelona, Seville, Canary Islands?

StillWantingADog · 12/08/2023 22:49

I’d go to a European city in your shoes. Rome, Budapest?

SM4713 · 12/08/2023 22:50

Pre covid we went to Sicily in early Nov. Still warm enough for T-shirts etc and far less touristy

Another year in early Dec we spent 5 days in Reykjavik.

Divebar2021 · 12/08/2023 22:50

Morocco is actually not a bad shout - shortish flight and you could get out to the coast or the mountains as well as Marrakech. I weather when we went in December was sunny and warm. My next holiday will probably be to Jordan.

Cormoran · 12/08/2023 22:50

What do you want / like?
Walking, art, history, beach, sun, snow, wildlife, safari, spirituality, yoga, ....

LuluBlakey1 · 12/08/2023 22:51

If we didn't have 3 small DC, DH and I would go to New York and Boston.

Taylorscat · 12/08/2023 22:51

I’d go to italy then when the temperature is better

rowbotham · 12/08/2023 22:52

Caribbean, particularly Grenada , so lovely

weegiemum · 12/08/2023 22:52

Dh and I are going to our second home (we'll it was our first home but then we had to move ...,. ) in the Outer Hebrides for 2 weeks in November! We will sit by the fire and read and I'll knit and if the sun shines we'll wrap up and go to the beach, and if it rains for 2 weeks then we'll stay in. Really looking forward to it!

Redburnett · 12/08/2023 22:53

Egypt, Red Sea, for snorkelling

IncognitoMam · 12/08/2023 22:53

So many ideas 😀
We like walking. And culture. Also eating out.

We're not too far from Northumberland. Haven't been there in years. I might go for a couple of nights soon thanks for reminding me @colouringindoors

Not really. Average is around 11 - 18 degrees.

I mentioned Madeira to dh. He said it might not be great weather wise? I've always wanted to go there.

I know we have too. I like that it's often quieter too.
