Bruges. I've been twice & each time found something new & loved it. It's great with DC too. We're going again, just for the day & taking my sister & her DC!

Aside from the obvious Amsterdam, Barcelona and Paris? Brussels (most Belgian cuties), Berlin, Rome, Florence. There are soooo many. Depends what you want to do.

The three I would most happily go back to would be Berlin, Rome and Vienna. I feel very much at ease in each.

That said, I’ve enjoyed every European city I’ve visited to a greater or lesser extent, particularly smaller capitals like Riga, Ljubljana, Bratislava and Skopje.

Been visiting Munich (and surrounding areas) for years now. Winter/Spring/Summer/Autumn always something going on.

Lots to see and do covers everything from culture to shopping, parks to museums .

But although its always been on the more expensive side its getting very very costly now. But still my favourite having spent so many holidays there

I have visited many European citys the usual suspects (and many I would not go back too) but have really enjoyed the not so popular ones such as Gdansk, Bratislava and other East European citys.

Went to Stockholm last year and absolutely loved it. Thinking of going again for another week to explore the islands more

Obvious ones would be Paris and Venice. I think there's plenty to explore on a few visits.

Less romantic and weather not as good: Belfast - small but plenty of tourist/history bits and the people are immensely friendly and proud of their city.
Vilnius - cheapish flights and walkable in the main. Lots to explore and they really want to show off their history and shake off some of the post soviet stereotypes.
