Just wondering what people are booking and at what price? If anyones found any real bargains!

Today I have booked..

10 nights in the Balearic Islands.
hotel is beach front and it includes bed and breakfast at £1,845
flights for 2 adult, 2 children is £855 via easyJet.
Going in July 2 days before schools break up so flights were still a bit high but not as much as a few days later.
so approx 2.7K

I didn’t think it was too bad as a school mum told me they are paying 6k to go to Spain next year! They have 1 extra child though!

Would love to book something really cheap in aug but I doubt that will happen!

In addition to our February half term ski trip to Scotland that so far is costing £500 for two including travel and accommodation (with breakfast) but will cost more of course with ski passes, ski hire and food, these are the other trips we plan this year (haven't booked yet though):

Rhodes in August with my daughter and my parents - AI with flights and everything included I'm hoping £2K for all of us. I'm planning to pay for my parents as they paid for our road trip to Italy last year.

Center Parc in Woburn - probably in early July or over May/June half term. I'm planning to take my daughter and two of her friends (and our dog 🐶). It should be fun for them to hang out and relaxing for me to leave them to their own devices 😂. It's going to cost around £1000 I expect.

New York City in October- my daughter is going with her school. It's costing £1,420, which I think is very reasonable for New York and less than her school ski trip to France last year!

I'm also planning to do one or two long weekend camping trips - either in the UK or France.

All of the above is finances permitting of course 😬

Feb half term three nights in a cottage on South Coast £600
Easter week in a cottage in the Peak District £1000
July week in a cottage in Yorkshire £1700

As you can tell we're fans of a UK self-catering holiday 😆 none of us much likes flying, heat or busy cities so this works for us.

Prices have gone up a lot, since pre Covid.
