Best 3 night winter city european break with teens??

We love Ljubljana. Have been in both winter and summer with teens. It's not as "big city impressive" as the other places. But plenty to do for three days. Compact, pretty, friendly, buzzy, young. A little bit quirky different. Affordable. More outdoor cafes in pedestrian streets than I have ever seen. And they are very good at the cold weather thing - everyone was sitting outside on warm seats with blankets drinking hot chocolate etc in January.

(I've not been to Prague but have been to the others)

Copenhagen if you go when Tívoli Gardens are open for the winter period

Krakow. We did it with my then 23 and 19yo and we all loved it.

Copenhagen is rather boring, IMO

Budapest, the huge outdoor spa is brilliant in winter, great museums etc, and quite reasonable

I just asked my teens and they said Prague.

They haven’t been to Krakow though.

@irregularegular I second Ljubljana, what a beautiful city! We went in the summer and had a ball. Felt do safe, compact, friendly, perfect for wandering around all the restaurants and bars, and the funicular up to the castle was great. Would love to go back in winter

Ljubljana and Dubrovnik, along with Berlin and Krakow are my faves.

My 2 went on a tour to Krakow and loved it - there was so much to do n the vicinity.

Trieste; lots of videos about what to do in winter.
