Easyjet flights disappeared from schedule

Hi there
Can someone advise if I should be worried about my easyjet flights to Pisa in August disappearing from the schedule? Easyjet haven't contacted me to let me know that the flights will be cancelled. It looks like they've reduced the schedule to one flight on Saturdays and one on Sundays. I'd be happy to change my flights (which are currently booked for Friday and Monday) but without easyjet telling me that I can be moved to another flight, I would have to pay a significant fare increase if I changed now? What do I do? I can't get through on the phone.

@WhatWouldTheDoctorDo Yes, I have. It mentions nothing about FCO advisories (it's a corporate policy so there may be some underlying T&Cs I haven't yet found).

I might try and give them a buzz this week (between work and kids!!) to try and get the lowdown, but that's interesting to note. Thank you!

We have flights booked to France at the end of July which are showing as sold out. The return flight seems to still have seats though. I can't believe that every single flight from Gatwick to Toulouse is sold out until July 31st?

Houseplantmad · 09/06/2020 22:34

Have a look at the schedule as it is more likely they've withdrawn those flights or that route. We're due to go to Naples on 19th July and the flight is showing as sold
our but in fact it's not on the schedule so is cancelled. The return flight on 31st is going though.

itsgettingweird · 09/06/2020 22:43

My flight is showing as sold out too

itsgettingweird · 09/06/2020 22:43

How we we check schedule? I'm with Ryanair

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 10/06/2020 07:43

@trebletheclef I had a look at the flight timetable for that route, and the first flight outbound is the one on 31 July. Current schedule seems to be a flight every day or so thereafter through August.

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 10/06/2020 07:44

@itsgettingweird I'm not sure for Ryanair. On Easyjet there's a flight timetables section (although it's only working for me on the mobile version of the website now, no the full website).

Girlswithflowers · 10/06/2020 07:55

If you cancel you will not see your money any time soon. I'm still waiting for the refund for Easter and may easyjet flights - no sign of any cash.

Reading this thread though i feel like I'm in a parallel universe! Currently as only essential travel is allowed anyone going on holiday will get no travel insurance. There is a 14 day quarantine in place. Lots of countries will not want us - UK is the sick man of Europe. I'm doubtful that my August scotland holiday cottage will go ahead - July - abroad!!

AnneKipanki · 10/06/2020 09:10

Ha ! Found out H booked the flights ..usually me that does it .
He has had the offer of changing it / vouchers but NO mention of the flight actually being cancelled.

Still waiting for a refund from Ryanair for April .

We booked 3 trips for this year well in advance. Looks like none of them will happen.

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 10/06/2020 09:27

@annekipanki Did your DH get an email with this offer? I read somewhere else (Reddit or Tripadvisor) that they initially send an offer to change/vouchers, then a few days later (assuming it's a cancelled flight) you'll get the offer of a refund.

AnneKipanki · 10/06/2020 09:29

He did get an email @MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet .

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 10/06/2020 10:11

@annekipanki - Thanks.

EBearhug · 10/06/2020 10:21

I had a mail from Easyjet to say my flights were cancelled about 16 days before it should have gone. I couldn't request a refund until it was within 14 days of the original flights (but then there's a year within which to request it.)

The website made it clear how to book alternative flights or get vouchers, then there was a less prominent link at the bottom for other options, which includes refunds.

It's a simple form - I've had an acknowledgement that they've received my completed form and a warning that it's taking a long time to process refunds because of the volume they're having to deal with.

AnneKipanki · 10/06/2020 11:22

Thanks @EBearhug
When were your flights?

trebletheclef · 10/06/2020 11:27

@MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet thank you for looking for me. I can't seem to find the schedule anywhere on their website. When I go to look at the timetable, and select that route, it just doesn't come up at all - just goes back to the same screen again!

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 10/06/2020 11:53

I know, I don't know what they've done to their website (or whether it's deliberate).

The only way it works for me is if I go onto the mobile version (not the app), go into Flight & Travel Info on the top navigation. Then there's Flight Timetables within the dropdown.

THEN, scroll down the page to London Gatwick, and across to the London Gatwick/Toulouse route.

You should then get a page open up with a bar chart (months across) the bottom.

Click on the July bar and another bar chart opens up for the month of July.

The only day that month showing a flight is 31st July and it's only the lunchtime flight going.

Easyjet flights disappeared from schedule
MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 10/06/2020 11:59

@EBearhug That's really useful to know. Thanks for that.

trebletheclef · 10/06/2020 13:07

@MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet thank you - I've found it. See what you mean. Well hopefully, in a few weeks, we'll be able to work out what's happening because people will report back on whether their 'sold out' flight actually flew!

EBearhug · 10/06/2020 13:32

AnneKipanki my flight out would have been this coming Sunday, coming back a week later.

AnneKipanki · 10/06/2020 15:10

Thanks @EBearhug..we are the 28 th .

No1HolidayPlanner · 10/06/2020 16:25

I have just received email about 12th July flights to Belfast.. they are running but with new times.

We are not going so will change dates before the 14 days so there will be no charge.

But they didn't offer any options. Quite an unhelpful email just stating new times.

Flights to Greece later in July are no longer on the schedule. So awaiting an email for them. Hope to accept vouchers and rebook for 2021.

trebletheclef · 10/06/2020 16:31

Is that Easyjet, No1HolidayPlanner?

No1HolidayPlanner · 10/06/2020 17:14

Yes it's EasyJet

trebletheclef · 10/06/2020 17:47

Thank you - was the Belfast flight showing on their schedule/timetable, or had it disappeared? Or was it showing as sold out?

No1HolidayPlanner · 10/06/2020 18:22

It had disappeared
