What’s your favourite part of flying Business Class?
nalanda · 21/12/2019 15:02
... or even First?
Mine has to be the first glass of champagne when you sit down and everyone else is shuffling past down to economy, looking at you
Cohle · 21/12/2019 15:46
and everyone else is shuffling past down to economy, looking at you
That makes you sound like a bit of dick OP.

Not having to listen to the people moaning about the leg room in economy. Not having to wait for drinks & food. The general ambiance
Ilikewinter · 21/12/2019 15:54
Being able to lie down and get a good few hours of decent sleep...therefore meaning I don't suffer from jet lag.
VivaLeBeaver · 21/12/2019 15:57
Can’t say I’ve ever noticed business class....do you actually walk through it to get to economy? Last long haul flight I did was on a Dreamliner and I do remember now walking past through one area to get to my seats, I just thought it was two areas of economy with the loos in the middle. Can’t say the seats looked different though I wasn’t paying attention I guess.
winterisstillcoming · 21/12/2019 16:03
Definitely lying down. Also being waited on hand and foot. It's like having a butler.
nakedavengeragain · 21/12/2019 16:06
OP I've flown business and first on around 5 different airlines and every time I've turned left or gone upstairs to business or the plane has had its own business/first air bridge. I've never had a situation where economy 'shuffle past' during boarding. That's the point, they don't!
Livebythecoast · 21/12/2019 16:11
I was the person 'shuffling ' past you to get to my economy seat. Did you see me spit in your champagne?
SinglePringle · 21/12/2019 16:15
The calmness of a dedicated check in and lounge. The extra baggage allowance.
The leg room / flat bed depending on the airline.
The space in the cabin and general ambiance.
Decent food and wine and proper plates and cutlery.
The priority disembarking.
The sleep.
Lanaa · 21/12/2019 16:23
The space. I love the face I don't have to sit next to anyone. It's blissful. Also the lie down bed and pjs. The little bar. The menu and food that is served on porcelain plates with real cutlery.
I went on my first long haul flight that wasn't first last summer and it almost finished me. Tui. Never again.
HeyLala · 21/12/2019 16:25
Empty check- in
Quiet Lounges
The bed as I mostly book night flights.
The priority baggage although this doesn't always work.
I have the glass of champagne on boarding and then I go to sleep. Rarely eat or drink.
Hoolahlah66 · 21/12/2019 16:27
Mine would be the extra big seat. That way I’ll take up so much room that I effectively use 4x the carbon emissions of an economy seat. This dooming the planet quicker than your average human being. I assume you also drive a white 4x4?
Holdingtherope · 21/12/2019 16:30
I would much rather go economy and have an extra holiday. But wish I could afford both!
SexIsAProtectedCharacteristic · 21/12/2019 16:32
Real cutlery and porcelain plates and the free food and drink in the airport lounge
LemonAndGin · 21/12/2019 16:33
everyone else is shuffling past down to economy, looking at you
I've never ever flown first or business where anyone walks through the cabin to get to economy
Psandra007 · 21/12/2019 16:34
The free champagne is my favourite part lol xx love having a nice drink while the kids are distracted
Movinghouseatlast · 21/12/2019 16:37
Absolutely everything about it is wonderful, but those flat beds are fab.
On many BA planes people walk through Business to get to economy. I flew to Barbados in October and this was the case. It doesn't happen on Virgin.
Feelingfestivenow · 21/12/2019 16:40
The space to sleep, and the shower in Emirates first class.
The free champagne? nothings 'free' or complimentary, you have already paid for it in your ticket price
Feelingfestivenow · 21/12/2019 16:42
Depending on the aircraft, economy passengers do walk through the business cabin to get to the economy seats.
bengalcat · 21/12/2019 16:42
Tranquility in the lounge , a ‘bed ‘ and can leave it right time wise getting to the airport as no queues .
