I’ve not travelled much so interested to hear which are your favourites.

Palma ( Mallorca), Lisbon ( Portugal), Bologna ( Italy) . But too best cities ever for as long as you possibly can afford to stay there are New York and Paris

RachelRosie · 09/06/2019 09:35

1 - Budapest
2 - Salzburg
3 - Amsterdam

Rome for sheer awesomeness.

Berlin for history.

Ljubljana for trees, food and great outside bars. Small and friendly.

As pp said Paris will always be my first choice. Its hard to only choose 3 as there are so many but other fabulous weekend city breaks

  1. Valencia
  2. Prague
  3. Venice

Went to Toulouse a couple of months ago, also fabulous and looking forward to a weekend in Porto next week!

  1. Salzburg
  2. Munich
  3. Warsaw

Not too spread out, good food, lots to do but without feeling overwhelming and that you should be there for a fortnight (rules out places like Rome)

1 - Krakow (my absolute favourite city in the world!)

2 - Rome (so much to see and do and eat)

3 - Prague and Amsterdam are tied (both beautiful and have excellent public transport systems Grin)

AnnaMagnani · 09/06/2019 10:03

Bruges is lovely but is packed full of tourists and tourist shops. It's struggle to take a photo that doesn't include 4 other people taking a photo in it.

Also DH got food poisoning there which may have biassed our opinions.

mumma24 · 09/06/2019 10:22

Thank you looks like Rome, Prague and Florence are the favourites so far. Keep the suggestions coming. Thank you 😊
