I would prioritise places to go by train rather than plane.

I loved all three and would love to go back. Ghent over Christmas was beautiful

In no particular order:

Porto
Seville
Ljubljana

Ghent is much nicer than Bruges, I think, felt like more of a place where people live and work (and study) than Bruges, which was rammed with tourists. Also like Dubrovnik and Split despite the crowds in both and in France, Lyon and Bordeaux are both fantastic cities, but lots of great cities and towns to visit in France.

Just got back from Amsterdam, absolutely fantastic city as long as you stay out of the coffeeshops and spend time exploring the city.
Valencia is beautiful and a lot busy than Barcelona ( which I also love)
Not a city but the Amalfi Coast - any of the small towns along that area and the food ...omg stunning
