A thread for parents of Year 13 leavers as they go on to universities, apprenticeships and other new adventures.

DS is off to Warwick to study PPE.

My DS is coming home tomorrow for a long weekend. First time seeing him since he headed off in September. We've only really had 2 phone calls as well so I really looking forward to it. I will have to ask him all the questions I've been saving up. He'll get fed up of that pretty quickly I imagine 😁.

DD is home for reading week and it's so lovely to see her 😍
She said she only felt at all homesick last week (and I think that was more because she's been burning the candle at both ends) so reading week has come 'just at the right time'
