DS1 has had another week of hearing nothing. Anxious about next week as Leeds and UEA likely to release decisions.

Re St Andrew's work experience: DD did her first placement day yesterday. A long journey by shared taxi, paid for by uni. She has a few sporadically this semester - not sure what the next years hold. Lots of hands on stuff on campus, too, so she hasn't felt a lack.
Re mental health support, so sorry to hear your DD isn't getting what she needs, Tinkobell. Really hope this gets sorted for her.

Rejection from Leeds today. Leeds was DS1's favourite so he is disappointed. 2 rejections so far, still waiting for 2.

speedy Leicester has been drip-offering for 3-4 weeks and will continue to offer 'sporadically' till end of March. UEA might start offering end of this week or next week so we are keeping our fingers firmly crossed.

monkey He went to work after school today then straight on to orchestra rehearsal. No ice cream but I did tuck a creme egg in his bag.

Not yet speedy, not yet... waiting on Aberdeen.

Feel a bit bad to post this and commiserations to 242. Just spoke to ds he had offer from Leeds. Don't know grades yet.

@emummy I think the Scottish Funding Council release their funded numbers very late - 2019 numbers were announced 8/3/19 - see www.sfc.ac.uk/web/FILES/announcements_sfcan062019/Intake_Targets_for_Medicine_AY_2019-20.pdf so it is possible that the Scottish med schools can't make final decisions until next week.
