A Level Results Day

Hi If UCAS does not update first thing before the school opens for result is it a bad sign that the offer has been missed.

jewel1968 please may I ask in what subject your DS lost 25 marks and which exam board. I am worried now still waiting for Biology remark to come back. Best wishes to your DS. Stressed out mother here.

AQA psychology. He expected an A* initially got a B (2 marks off an A) so encouraged to go for priority remark and is just a B (luckily) now. Am totally confused.

Eeek jewel1968 I am so glad his grade didn't drop.

When my DS sat his A levels last year, his History was a B but we didn't know how far off an A he was so didn't want to risk a re-mark. He got the grades he needed, he was just disappointed as that is his best subject.
Luckily he decided not to pursue it.

Biology back today, grade stayed the same, DD little disappointed, but moving on from the stress that is A Levels. Good luck to everyone going to uni 2018 :)
