Well done to all the recent offers, really good to read the news. It is good that our DCs get their confidence back when for some it had been a little lacking of late. The timing of the offers and how quickly or otherwise the Unis get back does impact, going to an interview with one offer already received helps with the nerves according to my DD and I am sure she is right. Next few weeks, even months, will see more offers.
Re. Bristol, DD decided against it mostly because the odds are stacked against it and wasn't convinced her p.s. would be what they were looking for. But approx 10 years ago we went on a special offer night away at Premier Inn, visited Cheddar Gorge, Bristol Zoo etc. and that evening were eating at Pizza Express when a huge gang of Fresher Medics came down the hill in medical related fancy dress with stethoscopes round their necks - my husband and I found it amusing and they were clearly having a good time. But DD who was around 8 at the time was not amused, I think she was a little scared - maybe that put her off Bristol!?
