We're making plans to update our highchair reviews and we'd love to know which ones you'd recommend.

If you've used and loved a highchair in the past two years, we'd love to hear about it. Your comments will help us to create a shortlist of chairs to test out and recommend to new parents.

Also, if you have any tips on what to look out for when choosing a a highchair please share them on this thread. We'll include these comments in our buyer's guide

Thanks!

After having the IKEA high chair for dc2 and loving it. It just wasn’t working for dc3 who was starting to try to climb out, no matter how often I tightened the straps, they always seem to work loose. So I’ve just bought a second hand Baby Bjorn which is so much more secure. It is also low enough for the tray to slide underneath the main table if needed. It actually takes up less space than the ikea one.

If I was a first-time parent planning on having a few DC I’d invest in the BabyBjorn. Yes they are expensive, but you’ll get your moneys worth.

Does anyone have experience of the Argos cheap version, as compared to the IKEA Antilop? It has more safety straps, plus the ability to change it into a low chair. I am buying for my grandson, who is about to start weaning. Plus, does the Antilop need the booster cushion? He is quite a small baby at 6 months.

The Argos version is called Cuggl. Thanks.

Hi all, I'm pretty sold on the IKEA Antelope but noticed it doesn't have a footrest. Did you find that was a problem?
Also, how long can a child fit in it please? Is it easy for a child to climb out? Thanks
