We are not quite as evil as some make out.

We try to lose weight, eat healthily, stuff like that.

Lizzy, I remember being so lonely when DS was a baby and cbeebies was my only company. I had a bit of a thing for him too.

Not suggesting you are sad and lonely, just it's a bit of a 'In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king' type scenario.

Hells, you should see the assortment of bumps and bruises my two have come up with.

Unfortunately both of mine have always been climbers. They are so quick, and they, too have the gift of choosing a day before a function or school photo to collect the most visible injuries.

LizzyLOU · 23/06/2010 14:35

I was sad and lonely when DS1 was wee Bitter.
But Chris, well he has a lovely Welsh accent, big hands and a lovely patient way with those pesky puppets...sigh

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/06/2010 14:43

He does stand up comedy as well I think lizzy.

He is very patient with the puppets, I'll give you that.

at men crushes, you're all loopy xx

Who's Alan Lizzy?

jetcat · 23/06/2010 14:59

hells - bless your DD, she sounds beautiful, and i hope she is ok after her tumble - it happens to all of us at one point or another, you are not a shit mother at all!

Lizzy - what have i missed? You were cooking in thong and tassles

double, well done on losing a stone

I have just had a text from junior - she has even managed to sit in the hall to watch the pre match warm up - too noisy for her. So, she is now sitting on the grass outside, and coming home normal time She will be gutted when she realises the footie is on here as well

LizzyLOU · 23/06/2010 15:51

I just made DS2 cry when I jumped up screaming when England scored
Then he told me off for "Screaming like a girl"!!!

Mmmmm Alan is on the screen...

Mittz · 23/06/2010 15:54

Definitely not a shit mother Hells... they are always one step ahead unfortunatlely.

jetcat · 23/06/2010 15:56

Lizzy - every time i see alan i think of you!

And i think i have embarrassed mini, jumping and screaming when we scored, and then when we nearly scored She has now gone upstairs on junior's computer to play farmville

hellsbelles · 23/06/2010 16:27

thanks all for making me feel less shite - I'm feeling a little less frantic over it all now. She is being extra cute to help me realise she is fine. Though the bruise and bump are HUGE!

Trills - that's so funny you say that. I am the clumsiest person I know. Nice to know I can seem like I'm not once in a while!

I picked up DS to discover he had lost his shoe at playtime. So he looks like the some sort of street kid with one shoe on and one filthy foot!

Right back to the footy - how exciting. WE WILL WIN - won't we?!?!?

Alicetheinvisible · 23/06/2010 17:00

Helles - i am very clumsy!

OMFG!! Just seen the professsional pictures from saturday. The bastarding photographer took some sneaky ones of me, side on. I look like a whale. Not impressed, i thought i looked ok, with my make up on, new jumper, black skirt and new shoes. I look like a fucking weeble

Mittz · 23/06/2010 17:05

Aww Alice.you are preggie you know.... that is beautiful, your body right now is doing something amazing.. you should be proud of it xx

I ust have used up so many calories during that match!
Blimey.

Alice, Mittz is right, I always think pregnant ladies look lovely, and you are so purdy anyway. You have a baby boy growing inside that stomach, how fab is that?!

My poor boys, have just given them a picnic tea as was too busy watching footie to cook. I am Waynetta.

SAF, so far numerous knees in trousers have been worn through and caps lost but no shoes yet

Mittz · 23/06/2010 17:13

Crisps, chocolate and lemonade here so far Lizzy...

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/06/2010 17:14

DS is doing my head in. He won't make it until bedtime if he carries on. I am sick of feeling like I have been burgled every time I turn my back for a second.

No idea re football Saf, sorry.

Hells, how on eath did he lose his shoe? I'm with saf, I understand lost PE kit and the like, but his shoe?

I have had a fairly productive day, just need to hoover upstairs and change the beds then I can start dinner.

I think I will feed the kids then nip out to get salad for me and DH. It's too hot to drag DD outside, she burns at the drop of a hat.

LizzyLOU · 23/06/2010 17:15

at Mittz, I was throwing biscuits at them in an attempt to watch the match in peace

trilliAnasTra · 23/06/2010 17:16

Lizzy you are a girl, why shouldn't you scream like one? And Alice you are very pregnant, you're supposed to be weeble-like.

OP posts:
LizzyLOU · 23/06/2010 17:18

I did point that out to him Trills, but he said "You should only scream like that on a rollercoaster"

He is such a dictator, for a 4 yr old.

Mittz · 23/06/2010 17:22

I am expecting hate mail now though..DS has taken his voovoo - whatsit to the park best place for it!

Alicetheinvisible · 23/06/2010 17:26

at Lizzy throwing biscuits to her children. Kids love a picnic.

My sewing teacher was telling us how they were going away for the weekend, and she had packed the car up, all her sons had to do was get in the car. 10mins before they arrive it is noticed that one son has not got his shoes on. He had got in the car without shoes and hadn't thought to bring any

trilliAnasTra · 23/06/2010 17:29

Where did you get one from Mitts?

The DC's Dad bought them a big one and a little one each. Presume sainsbury, co-op or wilko as it is all we have around here Trill...do you want them?

Laughing at the shoes thing. It is the kind of thing DS does.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/06/2010 17:46

Do you have a colander Saf? Could use that over a saucepan of boiling water as a make shift steamer.

I prefer spinach uncooked tbh, but if you need to do it in a pan, spplash of water and few seconds in the pan once it's hot.

Alice that is but very funny.
