This is our gazillionth thread.

We are not quite as evil as some make out.

We try to lose weight, eat healthily, stuff like that.

I'm Hells and I'm shrinking rapidly with the Dukan. It was shite at first but it's got better and better and I've lost about 9 lbs in 2 1/2 weeks. I'm going for another 4 or 5 lbs and then I'm done!

I just went a bit 'Sophie Dahl' and made some homemade roasted tomato soup. Totally delicious.

shakes pom poms for Lizzy's competitive 'mommy' skills

Alicetheinvisible · 22/06/2010 19:46

Evening

DH is out, DD is bathed and in bed, and i am watching Kate and Leopold. I just don't get the Hugh Jackman thing.

For dinner this evening i have had a bowl of tuna pasta, and a bowl of cereal. Feeling peckish though.

hellsbelles · 22/06/2010 19:46

Saf - that's lovely. Enjoy

bitoffun · 22/06/2010 19:47

I had a fucking awesome day- I couldn't get the laptop to work, so read a book for a bit in the back yard garden, then took the dog for a long walk on the beach. Bought myself a tuna and cucumber sandwich and some apple juice and ate it in the park on the way home. Maximum half an hour on mumsnet- it is the way to go in this beautiful weather!

I even took dd2 down to the beach after school, but she was only interested in the ice cream van, so we had a drive instead with all the windows down.

DP barbequed some chicken drumsticks for us for tea.

Simple pleasures!

Bof - sounds really really perfect. Simple pleasures are always the best.

BELLAvita · 22/06/2010 19:52

Hello

Went out straight from work to the pub for tea with my colleagues and my jobshare colleague who goes on maternity leave on Friday.

LizzyLOU · 22/06/2010 19:55

BOF, I would love to live a walk away from the beach, your day sounds fab.

Hells, put your pom poms away matey, you'll have your eye out!
Well done on your loss, that is amazing. I feel like something has "clicked" now with the Dukan and I am anjoying it and feeling lighter. I think it maybe the intro of the Dukan galette and less oily fish tbh.

SAF, what a sweetheart, glad you are feeling brighter.

Alice, isn't it the rumour that HUgh Jackman is gay? He is OK, not in Alan Hansen's league though

trilliaNastrA · 22/06/2010 19:55

at BoF's day.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 22/06/2010 19:59

No, please don't tell me that, i know he is amrried to an older woman but I am here waiting for him.

Bof your day sounds great as does SaF's. H has just taken DD to bed to guess I must make supper. We are having a fish fest this week so tonight is Dabs, baked with a bit of oil and lemon juice, new potatoes and salad.

Alicetheinvisible · 22/06/2010 20:03

BOF - so glad you had a lovely day I was just walking along the beach yesterday with mini (and agency pa who wasnt too impressed) and commented about how lucky we were to live so close! If anyone is truly interested in all things sea like, we have the tall ships race here in august - jet's door is open

Lizzy - get you, you soccer mom

Mini has been to her first dance class today. She was a star - they all loved her!
