This is our gazillionth thread.

We are not quite as evil as some make out.

We try to lose weight, eat healthily, stuff like that.

Here is our mascot

Evening. I'm wastingaway and have started doing exercise, finally.
There is 6 and a half weeks til my birthday and a wedding I'm invited to and I'd like to look and feel as well as I can. Come on!

Saf, that's so lovely. Wonderful to be feeling brighter.

BoF, what a lovely day.
I'm missing the sea. We're off to see the ducks tomorrow on the pond though.

Well done to the carb-spitters. That's dedication.

I'm v. tired. Not that I'll go to bed early or anything sensible like that.

YanknCock · 22/06/2010 20:26

DEM, yay for your hoisted up norkage!

DI, I sympathise. Even the most simple of divorces seems to take forever and they have stupidly complicated paperwork. How much longer?

Mouse, sorry you had a rotten night with the migraine and for your poor friend!

hells, from what I watched of Prison Break, the brother is a clod throughout (but I gave up on it after two seasons).

Bitter, I've heard The Wire is a must see...maybe someday. You'll have to let me know what you think.

Fanny, definitely know what you mean on the money front. Every time I think we've got all bills covered, something breaks or there's an emergency. We never get anywhere!

Alice, hope you're feeling better? I had an EMCS and recovered stupidly quickly too--will be watching you for pointers on this one!

BOF, sounds like a great day. I was stuck in a stuffy training room, overheating whilst doing boring shit on a computer. Want to trade?

jet, yay for mini-jet the dancing queen!

I had a look at the Dukan website. It reckons my ideal weight is 11st 9 which seems high (16lbs over my goal which is at the top for my BMI). How much is the book, is it worth getting? DH lost loads on a high protein low carb diet years ago, but gained it all back. Maybe we should both try something else. His sweet tooth is out of control.

YanknCock · 22/06/2010 20:28

oh and I'm Yank. I need to lose just under 6 stone (have already lost 1.5 st). Currently sort of doing WW and thinking about switching to something else.

Hi Yank

I am just asking for heartburn this evening. Kettle crisps and salsa dip but ouch!

trilliaNastrA · 22/06/2010 20:48

Trying to persuade DP to fix the flat tyre on my bike (walked to adn from work today, lucikly it was lovely weather so didn't mind so much).

Carbonara for dinner I think.

Ouch Alice, rennies at the ready!

I should really be trying to get more housework done. Would really rather go to bed. Maybe I'll do that instead.

Alicetheinvisible · 22/06/2010 20:57

Bed is much more important, perhaps do some housework on the way up to bed?

Trills - doesn't it take quite a while to walk?

That was the one i watched. DH and i were pissing ourselves at that!

trilliaNastrA · 22/06/2010 21:11

DP is fixing bike. I am cooking dinner in my underwear because our flat is like a greenhouse. Nice gender stereotypes there, but it works for me, I'd far rather cook than deal with bike grease.

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 22/06/2010 21:12

bloody sky isn't working (as normal).

Trills - I would do everything in my underwear if I looked like you

hellsbelles · 22/06/2010 21:13

err - that sounded perverted didn't it - it wasn't supposed to? Oh you know what I mean you caramel skinned goddess you!

MrsFeathersword · 22/06/2010 21:22

Hello, spent the afternoon with the Wiggles and have now definitively answered the question "Captain Feathersword - would you?" (yes I would ) hence new name.
Yank I picked up the Dukan book in Waterstones and it was really heavy. Decided that was quite enough exercise for one day and put it back

FiveGoMadInDorset · 22/06/2010 21:40

So glad you enjoyed them. DD and I are going to Southapton to see them next Thursday and was wondering how much valium to take

Alicetheinvisible · 22/06/2010 21:44

Off to feed the cat, have a quick dip in the bath then bed.

Night all

Gigantaur · 22/06/2010 21:46

Hello ladies.
sorry been awol. Been at work it is sooo cool to say that. still not entirely sunk in. im loing it.

Think it'll help me lose a bit of flab too as i have barely had a chance for a cup of coffee let alone any actual food.

Just thought i;d pop in an confirm i am not yet dead (had stitches out monday, all is well)

JuJusDad · 22/06/2010 21:48

Yay for mini the dancing diva

How are you Yank?

Alice, I drank Gaviscon constantly when I was pg, didn't stop me eatin for 12 though

Hey Bella

Double, I can't help it, Alan is on TV a lot at the moment, I love the World Cup! Hmmmmm

at Hell's "perving" over Trills. I say things like that all the time, once told a school run Mom I'd go shopping in Tesco in a thong and tassles if I had a figure like her, she didn't look impressed!..

MrsFeathersword · 22/06/2010 22:03

Do you have a thong and tassles Lizzy?? And if so, why do you not get them out in Manchester?

Mouseface · 22/06/2010 22:10

Evening, tis me Mouseface.

I am loving the new capitals in your names but am far to shit at technology to name change and join in!!

Ok, I'm rubbish at guessing too - who is MrsFeathersword???? Bella??

Had a wonderful day with MIL and SIL. And had a scrummmy BBQ for dinner and fresh garden grown strawberries.....YUM.

Am tired now as migraines wipe me out. At hospital tomorrow with DS and have to take DD out of school as we have no childcare.....

You all seem uber fine and dandy following this super sunny day!

Double - the TightMouseCrop is copyrighted ya know!!!! How's it looking???

BOF - your day sounds lush. Wish I'd have been there too, I love the beach!

LizzyLOU · 22/06/2010 22:12

MrsF (starts with "I" Mousey), for DH's poor eyes only, I am afraid

Perhaps if the Dukan and Shredding work, you never know, next meet up?
