hello all, I've got that rare thing. A lovely hangover! I feel all cotton wool and soft. It's so weird.

Mum's wedding went so well. She looked beautiful, the sun shone and everyone had a really joyous time. The make up lady did make me look like a man in drag but no matter...Mum looked radiant!

I have tried to catch up but wine num
bed brain can't. Except to say - thank goodness you didn't get a miele Bella. I got one with the house (previous owners left it) and I HATE IT. It's awful - it has the most annoying alarm that goes off continuously when the washing has finished...so you can't leave the washing on before you go to bed otherwise the alarm wakes you up (it's like an air raid alarm!)

Lizzy three cheers for size 14s.

Alas I too have the empty sack breast thingy. Hate it.

Mouse - the intestine thing has made me puke! Yuck!!

Waves to all.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 26/06/2010 13:52

Last load of laundry is out drying - I agree it's a never ending task.

I need to go through the DC's clothes again - I swear half of the stuff I wash hasn't even been worn.

Saf - probably is Poppy's, she seems to leave a trail of them like breadcrumbs.

Oh deep joy, have just been berated by a few vendors unhappy because my colleagues never return their calls... chillax, it's sunny, go and have some fun and stop shouting at a sweaty woman who doesn't want to be here either...

Hells, so glad wedding went well, all sounds lovely (I am whispering due to your bad head)

Portia, love that planter, your garden looks great

Mouse, any good film recommendations then?

The viewing lady (she is 63, looks 45 if she's a day, very glam) said I looked at if I'd lost lots of weight and was very glamorous today. She's lovely, she always tells me I am gorgeous, I need to tape her and play it to myself to boost my ego

DidEinsteinsMum · 26/06/2010 14:17

for free. 5 yo, ate half a jar of strawberry jam for breakfast with teaspoon, been up since 5am, skilled at provokiing and mess creation. Does not mix well wit plants and animals despited being enthusiastically inclined towards both. Delivery can be arrange although it will be on a non returnable basis.

....it has been one of those days so far.

BELLAvita · 26/06/2010 14:43

But you are gorgeous Lizzy!

Hells, sounds like you had a fabulous time. I am giggling at the make-up lady making you look like a man in drag. You are so lovely with a beautiful face and graceful with it, I just could not imagine it.

Aww DEM, I hope your day gets better.

LizzyLOU · 26/06/2010 14:52

Oh DEM, I miss my boys when I'm in work, then I have a few minutes of them running round like feral beasts and I want to come back!!!

Thanks Bella, I am not feeling v glam today, just sweaty. I love the sound of your lunch, yum. Boys and DH are having steak pudding, chips (well wedges) and scones with clotted cream and jam (not as good as DEM's I'd wager)for dinner this eve, he has just informed me. I will be having Dukan pancake, prawns and asparagus.
I am not even vaguely jealous.....much.

Have just rang DH to moan about work and he reminded me that I am quitting this crazy shite hole in September and as I have holidays I only have 6 more days to do here!!!!
I do love that man

Mouseface · 26/06/2010 14:53

Hells - glad you had a wonderful day!!! I bet the make-up lady was a bit heavy handed with you. Some are like that!!

Lizzy - we have 'Team America' tonight, bit of silyness is good for the soul. I've got 'The Time Traveller's Wife' on order but read the book and know I wiil just cry the whole time.

And, Lizzy, I bet you are uber gorgeous!

DEM - send him here!

PortiaNovmerriment · 26/06/2010 15:13

Man in drag? We need pictures . I can't believe that for a minute. This is amazing weather for a wedding, isn't it?

BELLAvita · 26/06/2010 15:14

Steady Mouse . Outfit sounds lovely. I like red for a bit of glam.

Blimey Lizzy, is it not a bit warm for steak pudding?

LizzyLOU · 26/06/2010 15:21

Mouse you must be uber slim to wear a tight short top and leggings! Bet you look gorgeous.

Bella, that's what I thought, but the boys chose it, I am actually not jealous of that bit, the scones are a different matter entirely...

I can't imagine Hells looking anything other than gorgeous, certainly not like Danny La Rue

BELLAvita · 26/06/2010 15:26

I am not cooking any tea tonight seen as we ate out at lunch. I can bet my life on it though that around 4ish DS1 will ask - what's for tea then? There is bacon in the fridge, bread in the breadbin and loads of fruit so they can just make do.

I love scones and cream

Mouseface · 26/06/2010 15:29

Lizzy - not at all, you see the blouse sits just under my bum and hides it nicely!!!!

I weighed myself today, 9st 8lb!! My lightest since my wedding day! I think my scales are broken.

I have also been doing 100+ crunch sit-ups (can't do full ones due to my pelvis) per day and wow, it's really made a difference to my jelly belly!!!!

MMMMMmmmm - scones!

Mittz · 26/06/2010 15:55

I am not getting Hells as a man in drag either...you are gorgeous Hells, but glad it was lovely for you.

Sorry about CF Double, this much angst early on doesn't bode well though.

The hills were divine, God I love this place. I didn't run much as my joints are so painful but nearly two hours of very brisk walking has left me feeling invigorated. And a bit frisky.

Sorry about DS DEM, it is very wearing.
I do enjoy my 'me' time. Just need a Hot Man to help me enjoy it even more now.

Well I am going to stay in my walking stuff and clean the back yard, then a nice shower, tea and I am going to watch Kill Bill and paint tonight. I love Uma Thurman in KB, she makes me want to be feisty and kick ass and uber sexy.

We need a massive thread Hot Tub..

Mouseface · 26/06/2010 15:58
BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 26/06/2010 16:08

Well the shit Mum award for today goes to me. DS has been winding me up since about half 7 this morning. I finally blew and said some horrible things to him.

He's in his room so we can both calm down.

I need to apologise for shouting then off to work soon.

Dinner is cajun spiced chicken breast.

I hate Saturdays.

Mouseface · 26/06/2010 16:23

Don't beat yourself up. That's bloody brilliant going if the winding up started at 7.30am!!

DD rarely sees The Enough Monster but when she does, it ain't pretty! And we always make up after too, eventually.......

I hope DS apologises to you.

Dinner sounds yummy!
