This is our gazillionth thread.

We are not quite as evil as some make out.

We try to lose weight, eat healthily, stuff like that.

Here is our mascot

Ah Bosch! the man that came to look at the washing machine today recommended the Bosch ones. Comet do have a model that can be picked up in store...

Alicetheinvisible · 25/06/2010 16:49

Do it!

Bread? No Bella, you need a spoon.

BELLAvita · 25/06/2010 17:00

Yes, Trills, I know.. but this way I get to have some choc spread without going overboard and still satisfy my craving.

I have kept the page open on the bosch machine for DH to look at when he gets in. He just does not share that same urgency at getting things done like me.

Thanks Mouse.

Oi - stop worrying child is normal!!!! Sounds like he is very full of life will go far. Though starting the idea of stranger danger nd not going with any old adult might be good.

trilliAnasTra · 25/06/2010 17:04

OMG SAF - your child talks to people? What a monster!

OP posts:
Alicetheinvisible · 25/06/2010 17:07

Shouldn't worry SAF. DD won't say hello to people but will happily say "Bye, see you later" takes after her father.

Probably is more confident after travelling. Nothing to be worried about i wouldn't think.

It is also normal to be worried

Bloody racing tonight and a band playing (Simply Red?) so town is packed. Need to get to horses once DH is home, then get ready to go out. Will be lucky to get an hour for getting ready and grumping about clothes that don't fit etc.

trilliAnasTra · 25/06/2010 17:24

Poor Alice, not enough time for grumping

You can grump to us in advance if it helps?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/06/2010 17:27

SAF - have you met my son?

Your DS is a wallflower compared to mine!

Seriously, I would not worry about a happy, confident, outgoing little boy. If he wasn't secure in himself, he wouldn't be happy talking to people he didn't know.

You are obviously doing something right.

Bella, nightmare with the washing machine. Sending positive thoughts that it will be sorted quickly.

BELLAvita · 25/06/2010 17:36

Thanks Bitter.

Aww Alice. Can DH not get the horses in? I saw Simply Red years ago..

LizzyLOU · 25/06/2010 17:40

Ugh, am hot, sweaty, look like shite and have two moany boys...but DH is home in an hour and I have missed him.

And he now has a Red Indian costume, after traipsing miles to get one with DS2.

How is everyone?

DidEinsteinsMum · 25/06/2010 17:44

Shower, disco, out. Have a lovely evening. Sorry to be flying out as you pop in lizzy. Its a bit crazy round here. Hope all are well and have a nice night.

BELLAvita · 25/06/2010 17:47

Lizzy, I bet you so do not look like you say! I hope your DH appreciates what you have done for him.

You have a lovely evening too DEM.

LizzyLOU · 25/06/2010 17:47

Oh I do, Bella. Very much so.
Never mind, I am in size 14 jeans that have no stretch in em, which I couldn't get on a few weeks ago, so that is one good thing

Hope you get your washing machine sorted, John Lewis are always very good and you get a free 5 yr guarantee as well.

BELLAvita · 25/06/2010 17:51

Wey hey for size 14 jeans - bloody marvelous! You should be really proud of yourself.

John Lewis you say.. I will go and have a look at the website.

wastingaway · 25/06/2010 19:23

Have fun evenings everyone!

DH is off out for a celebratory bevvy shortly, as they've had two lots of good news at work today. It's helped my mood too.

I'm going to... er... relaxxxx.

Hello, I'm here but DS has really pissed me off this evening and then DD tipped milk all over her bed and then I realised that DH has eaten the tuna steak I defrosted for my dinner so all I have had is a yoghurt and 2 slices of ham and it's Friday night and I can't even have a glass of wine.

And breathe.

wastingaway · 25/06/2010 19:29

Bitter, he really is eating a lot of flesh.
