This is our gazillionth thread.

We are not quite as evil as some make out.

We try to lose weight, eat healthily, stuff like that.

Here is our mascot

Wasting, the man's a human dustbin and he would probably stay on the Dukan for the rest of his life quite happily as long as he could stuff his face all day with meat and fish.

Unfortunately, the DC have inherited his appetite. I am going to be eaten out of house and home in a few years.

HELLO LADIES!

How the Devil are you all?? I have been very much missing in action of late but tonight I am back! Well, for a bit anyway.

My news is... nowt! My life is now a round of comuting, working, putting children to bed and occassionally remembering to eat healthily. All interlaced with a sprinkling of guilt about not seeing the dc enough (such is life!).

Whats the news?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/06/2010 20:02

Hey MyCat!

News is, um, off the top of my head,

Saf, Lizzy Hells and myself are Dukaning
Jet's mini was a star at the doctors
Mouse has sent the video of DS to the hospital
DEM is off skating
CF is showing his true colours
Trills has been cooking in her underwear
Bella's washing machine is kaputt

Oh and I'm going to organize a protein eating competition between SAF and my husband.

I reckon DS could be a rank outsider though Saf.

Saturday is my least favourite day of the week.

Cheers for the update thereBitter. Is th Dukan diet good then?

Glad mini jet and mini mouse are getting on well at docs and hosp. Shant' ask about underwear cooking but will ask, who is CF?

Whats up with the weekend SAF? These days I can barely wait for it but when DH used to work on a Sunday I hated it - it was the hardest longest day of the week.

Hellooooo MyCat

New washing machine now ordered! I looked at the John Lewis website and all the ones I liked were out of stock. There were only a couple of machines on Comet/Curry's website that you could collect in store, and one of the machines was not available at our local store . But, I have ordered a Bosch online at Curry's and it will be here Monday - MrBella has said he will work from home and will get it plumbed in as soon as it arrives. I just need to manage with some handwashing until then....

Mittz · 25/06/2010 20:29

Ermm

Glad good new had brought a smile to your face wasting .

I've just had some Skittles. In the hope they will make me something remotely close to hyper.

Lizzy WhiWoo at you in your size 14 jeans.

Had the pleasure of loads of kids to aid my recovery, but got out with DD on our bikes. It was fabulous on the meadows, very typically British evening. The views are truly awesome, I am very blessed in where I live.

I feel your washing machine pain Bella, mine is a pitiful thing.

My appetite has gone awol. And I am strangely frisky.

BELLAvita · 25/06/2010 20:31

Wasting - fantastic news.

Mittz · 25/06/2010 20:37

Love that dress Trills and you will look divine in it.

I have yet to go for a maxi dress. I am not sure why, I love dresses but have not yet invested.

trilliAnasTra · 25/06/2010 20:37

Popped to the pub for a couple of beers with the newlyweds and friends. Did I mention that at Spanish weddings anyone can shout out 'viva los novios' and the couple have to kiss? Lots of fun!

SAF if MMR made your boy more sociable does that make him some kind of amazing genetic freak? Given that there is no evidence for MMR doing anything to personalities, but that some people think it causes autism (approximately the opposite of sociable).

Well done on getting a new washing machine Bella - do you have any neighbours whose machines you can use for a load or two?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/06/2010 20:37

Saf, I'll take your 24hrs alone with DS and raise you a DD and an evening at work

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/06/2010 20:40

What have I missed? What's wasting's good news?

Mittz · 25/06/2010 20:45

My two are like that SaF, and I am proud of them to be honest. They need to tone down a bit and respect that others need to talk but that they are happy and socially confident is fab. You should be proud that you have given him the gift, although I agree about the stranger danger thing.

He sounds bright, effervescent and intelligent give yourself a pat on the back.

wastingaway · 25/06/2010 20:56

Bitter, DH has got some really good news at work, including more certainty about finances and I am feeling a lot happier about everything.

Yay for your washing machine Bella!

Mittz, you should try a maxi dress, with your build and features, I think it'd be stunning.

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 25/06/2010 20:56

SAF, my DD is like that (after an initial 30 seconds of shyness). She just tells everyone everything. I like to think it is an excellent skill, making friends, which will see her through life happily.

Trills, yes to loads of neighbours... no to asking! Next door have a little boy - must be a year old now, we never see them and she never ever puts washing out! Other side, she sucks lemons. I don't mind doing a bit of handwashing and if it is as nice as they say it will be, it will dry in no time.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/06/2010 20:58

Brilliant news wasting.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/06/2010 21:02

Sorry saf, didn't mean it like that, I just meant DH comes home as I go to work. Ships in the night. Wasn't trying to one-up you

BELLAvita · 25/06/2010 21:03

wasting, Mittz would defnitely look stunning.
