This is our gazillionth thread.

We are not quite as evil as some make out.

We try to lose weight, eat healthily, stuff like that.

Here is our mascot

Busy day tomorrow........

Physio, Hydro, DS's nurse is here and the blardy builders will be back.......

Night night those who are up.

Sleep well xx

wastingaway · 23/06/2010 23:35

Mouse, not scare, no.

There was a transcendental moment where the suspension of disbelief was suspended and I saw, not John Lennon taking nude photos with Yoko Ono, but Christopher Eccleston, aka Dr. Who and him off Our Friends in the North, what my sister once saw in Euston station, completely naked.

And an unsettling feeling of deja vu.

I prefer Christopher Eccleston to Daniel Craig.

That's about as far as it goes Instructions. I can't think what he's been nude in before though. I'm sure Dr. who can't have been nude.

sorry disappeared to rescue the saint's bf from work.

5lb fruit = 9lb jam.

I have another 5lb batch started and an all but 4lb batch after that. I was thinking a nice pot homemade for ds' teach at end of year. Something a bit diff to the ususual assortment.

Afraid although I have read through i am knackered and going to bed. night all.

wastingaway · 23/06/2010 23:49

Good idea DEM, teacher will appreciate that, I'd have thought.

Off to bed now. Wonder what I'll dream about.

oh and just for the record. Homemade jam is essential round here allergy wise. As stuff that conforms when bought from shop is extortionate in price. Without counting lecky and manhours the jam works out to be just over £1 per Lb jar. And as the jars are a set I bought for jam making purpose they are reusable and no cost this year. plus I only make when needed and this years batches will last 2 years in usuage when topped up next year with excess plums from ex's parents' garden.

Going to try to make crab apple jelly if their crab apple tree turns out to be an eater. Not sure what i would do with it when made but it is worth a go.

really going to bed now. Night Night, sleep tight!

Mittz · 24/06/2010 03:07

Mouse glad things were 'okj' at the hospital, sorry things were stressy though.

MrsF ours break up on the 22nd but there are differences in different areas. Would the tourist board of the area you are going be of any help. Lol at you wanting yours to be the only DC there though!

Wasting my DS is Fab . He spends his life on the toilet with his head in a huge collection of Beano/Dandy type albums of his Dad's. so he is well inspired.

Aww Hells. Hope today is better for you, you are too lovely to be that stressed. Take care xx

I'm going back to bed, finally feel like I might drop off.

And the snoring on this thread is infectious xx

MOrning all, had to interact with DH last niht after the gym as he is in London today/night.

Hells, please stop stressing, it will all be fine.

Mouse, so pleased that all went OK for you yesterday, awful hot day to be stuck on M6 hellhole

Fanny, yep, I won, DIB's right, I am yours

Yank/Kerry, well done the USA, serves us right for being so smug in the run up to the world cup

Mittz, what were you doing up at that time

DEM, in awe at your jam making, you really can turn your hand to anything, can't you?

Crispy, is the car insurance stuff sorted yet?

Everyone else, hello!

I am knackered as didn't sleep well, and haven't lost anymore despite completely sticking to it and gymming. Tomorrow am going onto veg as well, feel too unhealthy without it.

Mittz · 24/06/2010 07:57

Not sleeping very well Lizzy and chronic nightmares when I do. So much small stuff buzzing in my head and I don't find it easy to relax, I miss the chance to get out for a run/ride in the evening. I am, to be honest, fed up of life being so bloody challenging. Thought DS was OK but he has 'flashbacks' to when his Dad's drinking was bad and it was so horrible and now DS is 'stealing' again.

I'm OK in some respects but honestly sometimes, when is enough, enough? Not feeling sorry for myself.

Any how.. not meaning to start such a fab day being glum so have made tea in Norma's absence, but I ate all the cake (in all your best interests you understand).

till later xx

Oh Mittz, your poor thing. Hope things get better for your DS and you.

Thanks for eating the cake though, very thoughtful of you

TotalChaos · 24/06/2010 08:12

have had the shittest breakfast ever, 2 pieces of weightwatchers cake! mood crashing a bit, feels like even the small stuff is too much effort. sorry you are struggling a bit too Mittz.

wasting - CE always comes over as a bit of a misery in interviews, like he'd be hard work...

Mitts & TC - - I hope the sunshine restores your sparkle.

Love all the rhymes!

SAF - isn't it weird about the veg. I'm much hungrier on days when I am eating that as well. I just don't understand it.

We've had a very early start - 5am but that means I've got loads done - hurrah.

DH had fallen into a lazy doze at 7.30pm last night after the football (and beer)....lucky chap.

So it seems like my Mum has ensured the weather will be lovely for her day t/m! I'm off to the rehersal after lunch and then staying the night there so trying to get everything ready now for DH & his Mum (who is coming to help) to get DCs smart and with enough entertainment to avoid tantrums t/m!

wastingaway · 24/06/2010 08:50

Good morning!

Weetabix, OJ and fresh coffee for breakfast here.

Total, I think for a brief liason the hard work might be worth it.

Wishing you smooth running plans Hells.

Instructions, survival of the species relies on them being cute I think.

Mittz · 24/06/2010 08:58

You seem better today Hells . Hope it does stay fine, and the DC's wil be adorable.

I'm OK really, haven't lost my bouncability yet.

Have loads of work and am looking forward to a quiet weekend at home.

trilliAnasTra · 24/06/2010 09:09

Morning all. V impressed with DEM's jam-making. Have no idea what crab-apple jelly is for, but would nonetheless be even more impressed at the making of that.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 24/06/2010 09:21

Morning all.

Hells, have a wonderful time at the wedding.

Dukan starts today!

I have had a muller light for breakfast.

Will make a galette for mid morning I think as I never eat past about 6 o'clock. Need to make sure I have eaten enough by then to curb any cravings.

Mittz · 24/06/2010 09:27

Hi Bitter and wasting

Am I being daft here? Phoned my Mum to arrange to go over for her birthday in a fortnight, and they have nothing planned so they said they would 'pencil me in' and let me know if something comes up that means I can't go over..... I feel a bit deflated to be honest, they are retired and have loose commitments. I don't mind being flexible but the DC's are only off at the weekend.
