Afternoon, tis me, Mouseface.

Wasting - I think you're right re the muscle is heavier, said the same to Lizzy, and given you've upped your exercise, I think that's the most likely explaination.

SAF - I think you are much brighter, your posts seem to be more so of late. Do you live near me BTW, sounds very familiar!!

Alice - your ILs are shocking. My ILs are the same, eat at stupid o'clock so by the time it's ready, DD and I have gone past it..... and eat nothing.

Bella - oh well! AF and her timing?? Are you worried about AF at all or just letting nature take it's course? [nosy cow emoticon]

Trills - wedding sounds lovely

Hells - no, still videoing. They pick it up Thursday so the 'powers that be' can have a look and decide what next. OUCH for DS. DD had a 'wart' on her shoulder when she was younger, the doc said it would dry up and drop off and it did. She just has like a little beauty spot there now. Hope you get told the same.

Kerry - I'm doing the Lord and have lost 6lbs in 4 weeks. Need to step it up a gear though, been a big piggy this weekend!!!

Tesco have just been and I now have a fridge chock full of fresh fruit, salads and yummy cold meats...... BBQ for dinner!!

The builders are here . If I close my eyes and whistle loudly, I might be able to pretend they've gone.

Oh wait, that's the fucking angle grinder..... DS is refusing to nap

Is it too early to drink........

hellsbelles · 21/06/2010 13:15

Bella - I knew we were right! Oh I do so want to be like that. I will one day.

Trills - my daft son managed to tip his chair forward at an angle and bashed his head hard into the edge of something (it was at school so I assume a table). Right at eyebrow level. I got a call from his school (on thurs)...and it's been gradually getting worse with each day as the bruise comes out in all it's glory! Ready for his page boy role at my Mum's wedding on Friday .

SAF - I too had heard about carbs making you feel sluggish & more negative and I just don't want it to be true cause I LOVE THEM!! But it seems like it is the case doesn't it? Maybe we have a slight intolerance or something? And this is clearing out our systems? My Mum is always banging on about wheat intolerances.

Mouse - that's so reassuring to hear that you DD also had the 'shoulder wart'!! I do hope the video finally gets DS the help it needs. It is crazy that you are all having to go through this.

Thanks Hells xx

Right. I have been MrsAssertivePantsMouse so far today. MrMouse's very old friend, from his school days, has asked if he can come over and spend this weekend with us.

I said no

I said I can't cope with a reduced sized kitchen, puking DS, DD singing in the chior at the local Hospital Summer Fete, the feckin builders and a house guest.

So, now I need to kick ass at the council!! Basically, they provide a free school bus for children who live 3 miles away from DD's senior school. We live 3.1 miles away, using the shortest route.

We have had a letter to say she can't use the free school bus because and I quote "I have carefully checked the distsnce between your home address and the school using the shortest available route and regret to inform you it is less than 3 miles"

WTF!!!!!! I am now drafting an e-mail to said partially sighted woman to inform her of the correct distance, that we have meassured by driving it and looked up on Multimap and The AA.

DON'T MESS WITH THE MOUSE TODAY!!!!!!!

Hello, running in prior to lots of teenagers descending on me (tis lunchtime, so am allowed) (I think). Mouse am wondering what route they took, maybe there is a secret tunnel from your house to school? Try knocking on a few walls!
Saf I am a great one for befriending the geriatrics (they make me feel young and can be fun ) so if that's who all your neighbours are, give it a go! The single elderly women seem to be the ones who've led the most exciting lives!
Hells - poor son . But I hope you won't mind me using it as a cautionary tale at work.

Mouse, I am just letting nature take it's course with regards to AF.

I would so love a larder >

Mmmm cheesey chips!

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 21/06/2010 13:46

iggi - I think it is a very good example to use as a cautionary tale ...and it is being used on him again and again (as he is always mucking about in his chair!)

DidEinsteinsMum · 21/06/2010 13:53

I am on sodding hold again. I still have no answers. I have a very strong wish to poke a very sharp stick into the automated system that is causing the problem. But fear it would mean even more problems. stupid fucking finance companies.

Those with teen apply very very early the company is a fucking nightmare. Not the fault of the person at the end of the phone and customer service when you can get through do try very hard to help it is the fact the sodding computer system doesnt work

Mouseface · 21/06/2010 14:02

Double - OOOOOooo do tell more after your doze, sorry DS is poorly

DEM - straight jacket is for you, for now. Hold is shite, I hate being on hold. Don't put me on hold, ever.

Bella - fair enough re AF.

Iggi - maybe she hovered over the houses on her fucking broomstick.

Have penned shitty sharp e-mail. Just getting MrMouse to check it before I send it.

bellavita · 21/06/2010 14:28

I hope you get the transport thing sorted Mouse.

My Grandma has a larder, but it is called the Pantry. It is full of tins, eggs, tupperware and plastic bags.

Had pasta for lunch, have done horses, now want more pasta. Think we are going to get some ham and salad for tonight.

Alicetheinvisible · 21/06/2010 14:41

Oh, and make sure you are all drinking plenty of water

TrillianAstra · 21/06/2010 14:45

Yes Alice, make sure you drink plenty of water!

Alicetheinvisible · 21/06/2010 14:48

I am making the most of the crushed ice maker on my fridge
