Tonight is 'date' night in the Mouse house. We try to have a treat night once a month (damn AF and her timing) and eat yummy things.

Here's what we are having:

Rump steak cooked on the griddle, salad and herby potatoes, all homemade/grown IYKWIM.

Srawberry and cream meringue nests - strawberries from our own garden.

And a nice bottle of White Zinandel for desert, and a glass of something red and full bodied with the steak, MrMouse will select!

Then tomorrow, off to see my folks, sister and Gma in Manc. Hoping for a sunny day so we can have a BBQ.
