No, I get you, it's about personality types.

You could meet someone at work say, who is a perfectly pleasant, nice person but they totally rub you up the wrong way or wind you up just because, I don't know, they are the life and soul and you are more the sit back and observe type. (That's just an example btw!)

Why should it be any different just because it's your own child?

Yes of course I love my children unconditionally, but that doesn't stop the possibility of a personality clash. Both of mine had very distinct personalities from almost day one.
To quote double - blank sheet my arse!

DS and I both seem to be annoying the hell out of each other or having the best time ever - there seems to be no middle ground.

God I've waffled on tonight!

Yup perhaps I'd better be off soon too!

Mouseface · 16/06/2010 23:04

Bitter - having a baby/child with 'additional requirements' enables you to develop the skin of a 50 year old black Rhino within days.

Although my recent rants posts have been very vocal in terms of just how utterly shite the builders are, I can, infact deal with anything that life throws at me.

I just don't always know it at the time!

And no, I shouldn't. Even if you were horrid for a while, I'd still be here for you to sound off at..................

And before you ask, no, I'm not drunk. maybe tomorrow night or Friday!!

Night SAF and Bitter - not together, obviously.

Sweet dreams you lovely ladies.

Off myself now too. Be back tomorrow morning then after Physio and Hydrotherapy -

I am going to ache like a monk in a porn shop once they've finished with me tomorrow.

Night xx

Mouseface · 16/06/2010 23:09

Hey Double!

You ok now?

Gigantaur · 16/06/2010 23:16

mouse - agree totally about having a child with additional needs leaves you thinking if you can manage that you can take on the world.
and you are most welcome re the joke. i found it on my phone and instantly thought of you.

also whoever said about a link between melatonin and bedwetting - its certainly been my experience. DD had a quite a long period of bedwetting earllier in the year when we increased his dose up to 6mg.

Christ - are we all due - pardon the pun - a visit from Aunt Flo at the same time again?

We don't even see each other so how can this be? It's like college????

I am a PMT monster this week. V bad one, I get good then bad months!!

Anyway, need MrMouse to snuggle tonight so off to Bedfordshire.

I hope tomorrow is a better day for all those who have struggled with just, well, being today.

Love you lots

Night xx

I stayed up too late trying to catch up, but most of it's out of my brain again.

I have much Iphone .

DIB, you don't really want to look like Bonsoir, do you?

I'm going to Shred again tomorrow. [brave]

Night-night!

YanknCock · 17/06/2010 00:07

I've skimmed through about the last five pages and gone a bit cross-eyed from tiredness.

As far as I've gathered:

Portia is getting shit from stupid people

Mouse has a builder that pisses in her garden

.......

nope, that's all I remember, a sure sign I should be in bed.

Had really weird night/morning. Woke up with the bed and my hair completely soaked in sweat and kept going hot and cold for the next few hours. And when I say soaked, I really mean it. Very odd, not as though we have a particularly heavy duvet on and the room wasn't warm. I probably have the plague now or something. My throat is sore, have very swollen glands, and I'm living on co-codamol.

But DS is doing a crazy-looking army commando crawling thing (no knees yet), so that makes it all better

Going to bed now, night all.

YanknCock · 17/06/2010 00:10

hells, I now remember you asked if I was taking vitamins. I take a pregnacare multivitamin and omega 3-6-9 every day. I wonder if I need something else, zinc maybe? I haven't been completely well since DS started nursery nearly two months ago!

YanknCock · 17/06/2010 00:11

oh and Vinny is getting an iPhone

VinegarTits · 17/06/2010 06:51

Morning, sorry your feeling poorly again yank, but well done to your ds on crazy arm commando crawling

hope everyone has a good day

VinegarTits · 17/06/2010 06:52

none of the bloody clocks are right in the house, my laptop says 7:09 and my phone says 7:11 but this post will says 6:52 probably

Lizzylou · 17/06/2010 07:54

Good morning, and what a lovely morning it is!

Felt very odd last night and had to go to bed, all this protein is making me woozy, I felt odd walking up to school yesterday as well. Thank heavens I can now have a Dukan pancake for some sustenance

Have one of my new Maxi skirts on today and have had rave reviews from DH and both boys, think they like me being all feminine for a change.

DEM, you DS sounds like a complete genius! Gcse's? DS1 has no clue about those at all.

Yank, you poor thing, hope you feel better soon. You are so full of life, awful to think of being ill.

Have great days y'all

NormaSknockers · 17/06/2010 07:59

Yes please Norma

Right I am back on the healthy eating wagon. Yesterday I went out with the boys for lunch and we had a huge indian tapas-type meal. Delicious but swimming in oil and ghee. After that, what would have been the point in restraint? so I had more pizza. That's more pizza in a week than I've had in the past three months - bleurghh.

DreamsInBinary · 17/06/2010 08:33

Haha Wasting - that's exactly what I'm aiming for. The beard is coming along rather nicely...

DreamsInBinary · 17/06/2010 08:39

The Dukan book has a typo in the first few pages. This annoyed me beyond any reasonable measure.
