How's the teenage punch going down?

Mouse, sorry about DS but at least it is on film?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 15/06/2010 23:42

Portia - it's spelled Porcia to mean pig.

There's a MNer with the name PorciaMiseria or similar that always makes me

PortiaNovmerriment · 15/06/2010 23:43

Pig is oddly apt on a weight-loss thread, I guess.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 15/06/2010 23:46

We always call the dog Schwein Hund when she is misbehaving, as she is German.

Meh, work is shit by definition.

I did read an article some time ago relating sleep and weightloss.

I have been shit diet wise the last couple of weeks.

It's almost a bad thing that if I revert to my normal diet I don't gain, because in theory it means I can take a break whenever I want and not gain ground.

Which means I end up lazy.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 15/06/2010 23:55

Not lose ground even

Night Mouse.

It was a long time ago Saf, but I think the gist of it was that people who coped on 6 hours a night or less held onto weight more stubbornly than those who had between 7 and 8 hours.

But it wasn't a very comprehensive article, I don't think it took into account the fact that sleeplessness is linked with depression, which in turn can be linked with comfort eating.

Plus surely it's common sense if you are awake for 20 hours in a day you will eat more than someone who is asleep for eight hours?

But like I said, long time ago, the criticisms are just my opinion. It may have covered those points.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 16/06/2010 00:12

This isn't the article but similar research here

You're more than welcome.

Probably should go to bed soon, got the school run in the morning.

And the dog is giving me that look, I'd better take her round the block.

Night saf. x
