Morning all. its not sunny here but it is not raining. just going to rustle up feeling human (another coffee) and the get on with the day. Got to sort out a few things before 10am then have the luxary of a nice to do list rather then a practical to do list. It makes a nice change!

ID - I hate going to the dentist.

Just had some scrambled eggs for breakfast, whilst DS1 has tucked into a bacon buttie!

An artist for whom I have absolute admiration and respect had a look at my work and was very complimentary. And I had 3 visitors who had come specifically to see it. I need to rethink my plans seriously. I have lost sight somewhat.

Mittz - love your door sign, it is very similar to the gecko on my stomach (minus your door number though, that would be weird ) With your son, i think it sounds like it is all on her part rather than his. Would be a good idea to talk to her parents i think. She will hate you for it, but i think her parents need to be aware

Bella - your boy sounds sensible, but i went to Pony Club camp every summer from 11 and there was a lot of spin the bottle (and worse) going on (not from me at 11 i might add!) but there was a lot of it.

Anyways, after dispensing my parenting 'wisdom' i must go and see to my own little darling....

Weekend away was rather lovely - I thought of you when we saw the sign for Derby. We stopped off in Nottingham yesterday and went to the oldest pub in England - Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem. Very very quaint.

June is a hugely busy month for us (and expensive) and yes, I am excited about the whatjamacallit thing too - cannot write too much as DS1 is sat here and it is all hush hush.
