This is our 50000 (or summat like that) thread.

Some of us do wW, some do the Lord Ford and there may even be a little bit of South Beach in here too!

If you have loads or a teeny tiny bit of weight to lose or even if you just want to eat healthy then this could be the thread for you.

Have had crackers with Cottage cheese and smoked salmon.
And a kitkat. I feel lethargic and am tempted to have redbull to have the energy to do something, as I have slumped. Too many kids in the house to have a rest.

Sounds good for DD2 Bella. That is fabulous. He deserves to be proud of himself

I want to go in the garden but am literally just about on my knees.

Mouseface · 04/06/2010 13:22

Afternoon all.

Lunch today is a ham salad pitta, wholemeal of course and a shed load of water. Feeling a bit dehydrated...

Could be the vino last night!

Curry for dinner, homemade and only 610 calories, including the naan bread!! My treat for the day.

I want to go out in the garden but would need a hard hat!! To many sledgehammers being swung!!

Are you all enjoying the sunSHINE today? I love the warm weather. It picks my mood up no end.

DS has had a very bad day . So the sun is helping lots.

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2010 13:25

We're going to DP's niece's first birthday BBQ tomorrow. Any hints as to what we should take as a present? Bottle of champagne for the parents was my suggestion, but he thinks we should get something for the baby.

Mouseface · 04/06/2010 13:31

Def champers! We got one when DS reached one, it's a huge milestone for us so we really appreciated it.

Maybe a little something for the baby too?

What do DCs need/want at 1? Maybe money for her trust fund? Or something cute? You don't have to splash out lots on her. A token gift.

But I'd get both.

Thanks Mouseface - I know we should get somehting for the baby, just no idea what one-year-olds like/do/want/are interested in.

bellavita · 04/06/2010 13:37

Yes definitely champers and as Mouse says, a token gift for the baby. I love antipasto Trills.

Hello Double.

Your lunch and tea sound divine Mouse. Sorry that your DS isn't doing so good today.

Mitts, can you not just go and sit in the garden? Your kitkat was well deserved.

Trills, I would put some money in a card.

Trills - a Fisher Price tower block type thing, or a play mobile phone/normal phone or shape sorter. About £5 - £10 probably.

Mouseface · 04/06/2010 13:44

Bella - I can get you the recipe if you like for the curry? Won't be til later when DH is actually making it.....

It is a sweet and sour type but delicious with skinless chicken breast!

bellavita · 04/06/2010 13:44

Has anyone heard from jet?

bellavita · 04/06/2010 13:47

Gosh it's so beautiful outside isn't it?

Trills - agree champers for the parents and pressie (or money) for LO. Early learning centre does good stuff.

I love the dress. very pretty.

DIB/Lizzy - I'm seriously considering cancelling my hotel & train (I'm so scared now that you are all going to be disappointed in me). I'm sincerely flattered that you may think I could in any way resemble the gorgeous Thandie Newton. But I don't . Not in the slightest. I have a huge big nose and Jimmy Hill style chin so fine boned is not me.

ALice at missing blood! They used to do that to me all the time (with urine!!).

Waves to all.

The Durkan is such a weird diet. I have probably lost about a 1lb now (crap)...but I don't feel hungry at all. I feel bored with the food I have to eat but no hunger so surely it's got to work eventually?!

bellavita · 04/06/2010 13:52

Hells, don't you dare! > >

Stop it now with all these collywobbles, no one is backing out.

Mouseface · 04/06/2010 13:55

Stay away from chat today, there is a thread on it about giving up dieting/watching what you eat!

Sorry, I haven't figured out how to insert links yet

Will post recipe tonight for all who want it. I kno wit's glorious outside so curry is an odd choice but Friday night is treat night!!

Yay!

Hells - seems like you're doing ok, it's always slow when you start...... How long left on the Durkan?

Lizzylou · 04/06/2010 14:01

Trills, loads of good stuff in ELC for a 1yr old, they have the ages on them so you can b sure it's right.

Mouseface, hope DS gets better.

Hells, don't even think about it! I am so far off what I wanted to be weightwise and will be hormonal as well, so all bloated. Fab Good that you're not hungry, must work then?

SAF, poor you, I have had sinusitis, itis horrid.

I haven't heard from Jet,hope JUnior is OK.

Going to venture outside in a moment on DS1's bike as it is cooler now.

DeFluffy · 04/06/2010 14:06

I'm off to drop off dd2 with parents (who are still holding dd1 to ransom ), then go watch Robin Hood at cinema with DP, back to parents for a chinese, then take both dd (if we can underdo the chains on dd1) back home.

See you in am.

SAF - Sorry you are not feeling well. Will post results tomorrow x

Mouseface · 04/06/2010 14:06

Thanks Lizzy.... I was wondering about Jet's Junior too. Hope they're both ok. Has anyone heard from her?

Mouse - on this attack phase (which is the really strict bit) it's up to 12 days but optimum is 5 so I've only got a few more...and then there are a few more phases which go on for about 2 months in total (but they get less and less restrictive). The end goal is reaching target weight and then being allowed to eat ANYTHING you want!! As long as you stick to one day a week (forever ) of this protein only day. We'll see if it works in practice!

I won't back out of the 12th as long as you promise you will lower your expectations

Mouseface · 04/06/2010 14:11

Hey double....

Sounds like you need a pick me up? How about iced tea? Sat out in the sun? Maybe a snack too, that doesn't seem like much to eat....

My house is a tip too..... I hate half term!!

Mittz · 04/06/2010 14:14

DS got stacking cups at 1 Trills, so simple but we used them for years and still have some knocking about, they were used in the garden, baths, by DD. He 12 now and definitely one of the best used gifts he received.
