Fanny, he made me stop so he could get a chinese takeway on the way home. He ate that whilst I took the sitter home, then when I got back he had 3 slices of malt loaf and then went to bed. I went up literally 5 mins later and I could hear the snoring at the bottom of the stairs. I just knew he would be on his back with his arms behind his head over my side of the bed grrrr. So when I tried to get in, all I got was an elbow in the eye!!

He had to get up at 4.40 for a drink of water he was that thirsty. Tsk, no sympathy for him.

just been outside to check which neighbour it is, its a house over the back in another street, so i dont even know the house number or street name, and i cant knock as i would have to walk around the block to get to them and they are cut off by fences but directly behind my house iykwim? grrrr

Can you improvise some earplugs with screwed up tissue?

I have custard creams today

Vin is the chap renting or does he own do you know? If he's renting phone the letting agent & complain to them as they'll send him a snotty letter. I have to do the same thing this morning as there's a house over the road that was recntly sold & then let out, the new tenants have been there a matter of days & had a garden party with a very annoying & loud DJ on Saturday night until way past midnight Shame DH wasn't on duty as I would have sent him over If he's not renting I would call the police as it's not the first time is it!

so hot last night! I looked like a beached whale trying to be cooled down (you know with the wet cloths kept over them?) Fecking cat was being stupid too Going to get the fan going today to clear the dust out of it and hopefully have a better night.

Can i just say i am LOVING this weather. I know i live in the wrong part of the world for 360 days of the year so I am basking in this lovely heat like a sleeping lion

Had a lovely time camping (apart from DD2 not sleeping ), went to the beach at Woolacombe, played games and generally had fun . I went to bed at 9pm last night and slept till 7.10am when DD1 got up

Not properly caught up but i believe Yank is having a better time (yay), Vinny encoutered a gropemeister (bleugh), BoF is dressed as Granny Murray (weird parallel universe), Alice is being a good girl and resting (save essential trips to Waitrose) and Bella has had a drunk DH and sexy DH all in one weeked (busy lady)

SAF/Double i agree with waking earlier than the DC's being a good thing, but can never quite manage it either

Fanny, glad you had a good weekend and you were only just down the road at Calcot. I agree the food is delish

Off to toddler group shortly and then enjoying the sunshine (may not manage to shred as book in the sunshine is more appealing ) before DD1's swimming
